Got in a huge argument with my girl over that Trans hearing or whatever it was. Now the guy questioning her is normally kind of a dick , but I completely agree with him here. While I had zero issue with someone being trans (seriously why would I lose sleep over someone's life choices that do not affect me?), The over the top sensitivity of the trans community is too much. I'm so confused because of conflicting opinions the trans community has said, that I don't even know what to say or do around a trans person now. Which is sad. I don't want to treat them any different. And I'm not sure they want to be constantly overly identified by just being trans. They're people. I'm sure they just want to go about their lives and not just be "trans" all the fucking time l. I know I wouldn't. And for example - I've been sober 16 years. Now imagine if I wanted the world to adjust to fit me and what I am and in turn all people ever saw me was/is an "alcoholic". What a shit way to live. The world does not give af about what we want. It just does what it does. So when you get people like that teacher who cannot answer a simple yes or no question ... It really puts a huge damper on the situation. And most people are tired of it. Im just starting adulthood and ive never been in a relationship, but seeing all this makes me wonder how im ever going to find the right person if theres sooooooo much to look out for 😅 but im glad im being enlightened now before its too late
You're lucky to be young enough to learn this before you learn the hard way.
Main things to know would be; don't chase women. Go to the gym, get in good shape and not for female attention, but for your health, physical and mental. Dress well, smell good. Be assertive. Know what you want and don't settle for less, no matter what. Stay focused on yourself. The rest will fall into place.
It's a few weeks late, but here's some tips from 35 years of life:
1) Always be upfront about what you want. If you're looking for long term relationships, then say that. If you wanna hook up, then say that.
2) Don't hook up with women. It isn't worth it, never makes you happy, and the women who do hook ups aren't worth it.
3) Do NOT ignore red flags. Do NOT let your emotions cloud your judgment. If you wouldn't accept that red flag from a friend, then don't accept it from a woman.
4) Sometimes relationships have sacrifices, but it should never be just you sacrificing.
5) Always avoid lying whenever possible. Be truthful. Yes, this will get you into trouble sometimes. But your honesty is important.
Finally, recognize that you don't need to be in a relationship. It's not mandatory to happiness. Find someone who makes you happy, don't suffer simply because you feel you have to.

My 11 year old daughter believes she may be gay. We don't hype it up and make it a huge thing. She also loves Anime (as do I). If she switches on either one I'm happy. But I'm not going to shove it down her throat to be gay or not. I'll support her when she gets old enough to actually make a grown decision. That teacher is madness.
