The Buddha’s teachings come alive in conversation. His teachings were created in the moment, in his encounters with the diverse people and ideas of his time. Summaries of his teachings focus on what he said, but for this course we will focus on how he said it. Engaging in a meaningful conversation is not just being able to state correct facts, but to listen with empathy for people’s needs and values. This four week course selects memorable moments from the early Buddhist texts and reflects on them as encounters in a personal and social context.

Sadhu sadhu Sadhu. I really appreciate Bhante Sujato for teaching this very profound sutta in such a simple way to understand.

Respected Bhante, the story about the monastic who faced the demand to retell his story and in that process possibly be re-traumatised is of particular interest. I would greatly appreciate learning of how this monastic overcame or is overcoming this obstacle. Regards!

I think he already explained it in the video. Please watched it again entirely and carefully and you'll find it.

@haovan5273 The Dhamma talk was surely the best ever I have heard on the Honey ball sutta. Gratitude from me would have been a more appropriate response. Sahdu!
