Southern hemisphere winter is brutal this year. In one area just outside Durban, yesterday, there was a tornado and there was flooding in and around Durban. Thankfully no loss of life but informal settlements were destroyed.

Absolutely love Singapore, try to go once a year. Gardens by the Bay evening light show is excellent try and go each time I’m there. Melbourne is only 2 hours in front of Singapore not 6 or 7 that you mentioned. Melbourne is know for its weather and getting 4 seasons in one day. Lol….I feel safe to go out by myself in Singapore all the time. In other places I don’t go out on my own, I don’t feel safe, so well done on that achievement.
I never realised how close it was to where our hotel was, 10000% im going every time now 😂 Im the same, you can get the feel for a place straight away and always trust your gut

Hello, whenever I travel from the US to Europe or Asia, I have really weird dreams and wake up disoriented. I still love to travel though 😀

3:06 we Aussie’s think the same thing about flying east. Except that means that for us flying to the States sucks.

Though technically Melbourne's layover was longer than the Singapore one,in the video it looks like it was the other way around both times in Singapore. We got to see glimpses of Singapore despite the unsuited weather😅.
I felt you right there at the gym when you were too tired to workout, nothing humbles you more like lack of rest especially when you trying to workout. It feels like an impossible chore to do😢.

Hi Sophie, You must be very tired after all that flying back and forth. I went to Singapore a few years ago and the humidity was off the scale. Well done on going out shopping and having a meal on your own. I am always a bit apprehensive about going somewhere I am not sure of but you've proved it can be done. Thank you for taking us on your trips. x

Funny, for me, going westbound (from Europe to US, eastern US to western US) brings on really bad jet lag, whereas going the other way is never a problem as we just stay awake till bedtime on the destination's time and sync our bodies to the new time. The only instance where long-haul westbound travel didn't jet lag me was a 36 hour journey from Florida to Singapore (by way of Atlanta and Seoul) in which we landed in Singapore at about midnight and were able to go right to bed when we got to our hotel.
Its crazy how our bodies adjust in different ways. We can try as much as we can but when jetlag hits, its sleep time😂

Just a normal day in Singapore that weather the rainstorms are the absolute worst i had it at the F1 race came back like drown rate😂
The gardens are something I never did they looked beautiful from seeing them from a far
But wholeheartedly agree with the jet lag it’s so bad it killed me haha 🤍
You have to go the gardens if you ever go back, being their was incredible
