I'm a 75 year old woman and I've been practicing this and I just found this guy's video. I am going to practice with him! I learned a little along the way but he makes it easier to understand the moves. I don't feel 75, nor do I look it, so I figure that if I want to do this, why not?
I see a lot of women doing shuffle dancing and fewer guys. So thanks for getting out there and being real. Great video and inspiration to a lot of others that want to shuffle dance.
You goated! You really inspired me to start a somewhat similar journey because I always thought this type of dancing is cool but I never found the motivation I needed!
Donald. thanks for sharing your progress, even though I'd been very active all my life, about four years ago my age finally cought up with me at 71 and has kept me from doing a lot of things I used to do, mostly because of problems with my balance, BUT I'm now working on an exercise program which incorporates TI Chi and Shuffle dancing, (!?), so we will see what we shall see. Right now I could sell my videos for the comedic appeal since I'm biting the dust (actually the Tiles), more often than not, Ouch. Ouch, Ouch, But intend to keep it up till I can stand longer than I fall down, Will let you know how that goes. In the meantime, Thank You for the INSPIRATION.
God bless. I'm only a few years behind you and I'm trying to learn these new dances too! I've loved to dance all my life and I don't intend to stop now.
Way to persevere! I've been practicing weekly for about 40 days. It's not easy, but I'm determined. Your video was inspirational. Looking forward to your others to see how much better you are now.
We can achieve excellence in life in many things - all of us. What it takes is practice, practice, practice, coupled with passion until practice allows automatic excellence to follow. Many of us do not apply ourselves repeatedly, over time and with passion to a task, which is why we fall short. You have demonstrated a passionate desire to do something you previously could not, and have climbed the ladder to do what you wanted to achieve from the outset. I take my hat off too you. Well done !!! I am 57 and am getting more supple as I do not want to lose movement with age. I will try this dancing too.............
Hey ! I m 50 years old lady n i wanted to do shuffal dance ! I watched so many videos but didn't got as like u ! Your teaching method is very good thanks for u make this video ! I will try my best ! Thanks once again!
After watching this, I will never judge myself when learning something new until after 10 days of deliberate practice. Thank you so much for the video.
Congrats, in 10 days, I find you do it right, wow, I tried a few times, but since knee surgery , cannot to much so thank you for sharing and showing us how to....!!!
So, about a year ago i found this vid. and it inspired me, since i dont really go out or socialize, i could practice and be happy with it. Recently i finally had the courage to go out with the few friends i have, and although drunk, had a great time and even showing of my moves inspired by you and Emylee, SOFIA, and Vanesa (you probably know)... Made my friends apreciate shuffle, allthough it was weird to see others (and strangers who i now allowed myself to talk to without fear) appreciate something i did.. Thank you and the yt algorithm for improving my life... :)
So, in simple terms [ Practice makes man perfect ] anyways I started my shuffling journey today and just in one day I even learnt one shuffle step. I M happy today. ☺hope to continue this process 🤗
Excellent! Im a dancer and dancing well takes an enormous amount of practice! Right now Im watching a variety of dance stiles on TH-cam.and trying not to compare and despair ! Theres a lot of talent out there. Keep up the good inspiring videos.
You made so much progress in just 10 days! It took me about over 30 days of dayly practice (20-60min a day) to get the runningman somewhat okay I am really impressed how good this stuff looked :O
I've been looking for something to help me be more active, and the fact you were able to get that good in 10 days is definitely a good motivator! I'm going to try learning too! Thanks :D
So many worlds i have in my mind but can't write... You pushed me to learn something new i always wanted to know...You are amazing to share how you extended the time to learn
The first rule of the dance floor is to have fun. Don't get hung up on things like skill or how you look in the eyes of onlookers. There's always going to be miserable people who spend their entire time at the party sitting on the sidelines and judging the people actually living because they're too insecure to put themselves in the position they're putting you. There's also always that one guy who will come out on the dance floor and bust a bunch of power moves after everyone has already been on the floor for 4 hours. Ignore him because he can't actually dance. There's only two things that matter: 1) you had fun, and 2) you were out there on the floor sharing the love with everyone else. If your only moves are a fist pump and a shimmy, then fist pump and shimmy your ass off.
Love it! I was a running man, Roger rabbit gen baby... 30 years later I'm overweight & in need of a fun way to get back in shape. Shuffle! So.... I appreciate that message ... totally... and... PS nice moves!
Thank you for the inspiration dude! I didn't even know what "shuffle step" dancing was called until I stumbled across a video on insta today. But I've figured out some basics of it intuitively and really enjoy this way of dancing. Now that I know it's an actual style and the NAME of it and as how far you got in 10 days, I'm STOKED to do the same! Plus it's a good workout, I may be incorporating it into starting my mornings :)
I can’t say how much I love this video. You are showing all of us- no one starts out S-tier with a new skill. It takes consistent practice. By your vulnerability and heart, you will impact others for the better. Much love and respect to you and others out here doing the same. 🔥🙌🏽
Dude I just found this channel but its an instant sub for 2 reasons: 1: always wanted to pick up some kind of dancing, this gave me the motivation 2: vibe is impeccable
Thank you for making this awesome video! My Grandson and I want to learn this. Your video is by far the best one I've seen and I've seen many! Keep up the great videos!
You put the biblical efforts to it, brother! You look very natural in your movement - according to the fact you've mastered it in 10 days! I'm hugely inspired by your work! 💜 I tried to learn shuffle half a year ago and then stopped, and today is the first day when I mastered the 'running man' flow) I will definitely keep working, hope I'll get the level that you got) thank you for the inspiration 💜
Thank you! It means a lot that you found inspiration from my video. And I’m glad to hear that you’re improving, you can definitely get to where I am and even better if you keep learning. Best of luck!
OOOOMMMGGGGOOOSSHHHH!!!! I AM SO LOST OF WORDS WITH THIS VIDEO. I'M INSPIRED, ALWAYS WANTED TO LEARN HOW TO SHUFFLE DANCE. HUGE SHOUT OUT TO YOU BRO. THANK YOU.
Bro you keep this up for another 2-3 years you will be straight up GOAT ! Unintentionally you even added some CWALK stuff in there, but that’s how you modernize and evolve the art of dance itself !! Keep going man !! 😸
I just started jump roping at 62 and having fun learning tricks. I'm still trying to get the shuffle as one of the tricks. Your breaking it down has really helped.
Wow! You're true talent. I tried shuffle too, it's really cool. But really my body neglected to perform almost any of basic moves. I am super untalented for dancing. I'm going to practice harder. My right knee is in pain allready last days.
Thanks, man! I really enjoyed this video. As a 73 year old who has always loved to dance, I found shuffle dancing on TH-cam, and knew I had to try it. Because it is so fun to do, I get a lot more exercise than I otherwise would. I look like a cow, or at least feel like one, but learning a new move at the end of a ho hum day, has turned the day around and I am smiling again. I have learned the running man (3 variations), the T step and the charleston and find that I can fool around with them already, just a week from starting. I can't put in the time that you do at my age, but your efforts are inspiring. Thanks for the video, you seem like a cool dude.
For the last 2 years or so Iv constantly come back to watch shuffle dance videos, if I tried from day one I’d probably be quite good now but never have, maybe I should lol. Fair play to you for getting as good as you did in 10 days! You done well! 👍
Truly inspirational for people who struggle with confidence .. you’re spot on that making progress & enjoyment are key along with not setting expectations too high .. thanks for sharing & many blessings to you 🙏 😁
At the beginning of this year, I rekindled my old love for music and the more music I listened to and expanded my palette on; I've been getting the urge to dance, something that never happened to me before. This video has inspired me to learn to shuffle and that's exactly what I'm going to do.
So it’s kind of a weird story. I originally danced to “Get your Love” by Dj Quads but I realized it was copyrighted. So in editing I put “ So Proud” by Dj Quads over the video. But I had to slightly speed up the song so it matched the beat of “get your love”. Hope that helps!
I subbed...mostly because you have a very calm voice. NOT an over the top voice like most do because they wanna have that "extra" energy in their goddam videos. that's annoying af. plus your shuffling is very good
I've always wanted to learn various shuffles but was too intimidated (or just lazy) to start as it I thought it would take sooo long. You've inspired me to start and it's going well. Love your video.
You did awesome. Would love to see 30, 60 ,90, 180, 365 days. Now, you need the challenge of adding a jump rope like "Lauren Jumps." What great cardio you did on this adventure, too. I am proud of you!
Nice 👍 video ,I have taken it to learn as hobby, but had no idea how to do it as I want to learn on my own this video of yours is of great help thankyou so much
I just joined college an month ago and I had near to no experience in my high school in dance this video inspired me to prepare some moves for my freshers party .... Thanks men, I'll be ur thankful subscriber from now on 💙
I think you've done really, really well.... In fact the ONLY criticism that I can give you is that you kind of look like you're working really hard at it... I don't know if it will take a little while longer, but I really think that all you need is to "loosen up" a little bit... kinda like you're just floating effortlessly... like you "don't care" ... I'm absolutely no "authority" but I really think that's all you need... If you make it look more like fun than "work," I think you've got it!!!
My 1 Year update is finally out! - th-cam.com/video/PXqee0Y_HRA/w-d-xo.html
I Appreciate y'all :)
Great dancing but you need to stop looking at your feet. You will look much better doing that. 😁
Well done, you! I am so impressed as a former club kid, now in his 50s, who wishes he could still do this!!!!
The neighbors:
“Honey that guy is outside marching and running in the same spot again”
I’m almost 66 years old and never danced, but I really enjoyed seeing you do so well in such a short time. Great job.
I'm a 75 year old woman and I've been practicing this and I just found this guy's video. I am going to practice with him! I learned a little along the way but he makes it easier to understand the moves. I don't feel 75, nor do I look it, so I figure that if I want to do this, why not?

Oddly enough, the jump rope is how I learned to shuffle. Did a bit of boxing when I was younger and the foot movements pretty much swap right over.
