To me, one hallmark of musicality is ability to rearrange an existing song to suit your vocals, singing style, etc. These covers prove just that! When I heard they are a self-producing group, it’s even more impressive. I stan talent! - vocals! It’s like any 9 of them can be the main vocalists, which is a testament to their vocal abilities. I can’t tell who is their main vocalist before I knew about them, which means all of them have strong vocals - their teamwork and team unity is impressive. They aren’t just colleagues. They are like a family. I see this in the line distribution in their songs where they include everyone in. When I watched videos of their interviews, you can see the more talkative members asking the quieter members questions to draw them into the conversation - they sing LIVE during music shows! This is a rarity these days (Shinwon messing up the lyrics during one of their shows proved this, haha) I don’t have a first bias (I spent most of the time trying to identify who is who 😅) I don’t know each member well enough yet to comment on what was was my first impression of them. I’m so glad that people are noticing the other vocalists that aren’t Hui. I feel like Jinho/Hui are so outstanding that sometimes ppl overlook the other members.
