- The poachers pride is an unlockable sniper rifle for the marksman, While worse to stock in almost every way, there are some aspects of the weapon that keep me coming back.

Basically it's the best weapon for an aggressive playstyle on Marksman who's most of the time sitting in the backlines passively sniping enemies from afar
marksmen using this weapon are the only time i'll appreciate the enemy's skill instead of blaming my very slight ping disadvantage of 8
also cooby: has the lowest ping in every server
sometimes i use poacher's pride and headshot a scout leaving them at 5 hp so i try to get a shot on any part of their playermodel but they run so far they pass my father on the way so i feel so much despair
edit: i remember that a good poacher's pride player tried to convert me into a poacher when i was using the classic which is almost the same thing

For some reason I can always hit headshots with the AE-50 but not the Poachers Pride

Its also worth mentioning in the mode Vsb (Vs Bosses) This Gun is actually Better than stock if You can aim. However even if you cant its worth running with the suppressed solution/Citric Reaction For that sweet 360 damage per crit.

Ah... Back in the day this thing had 60 base damage without falloff, allowing it to be a mid range nightmare.
It played like the Ambassador, in a way.
I was a bit of a god with the earlier editions of the Poacher. I'd just charge the enemy team slapping opponents around with combinations of bodyshot combos and rapid flick headshots.
This has to have been 5 years ago or so. Maybe just over. Too long ago to remember specifics.
Im not much into TC2 anymore, all my skill is long gone. Love the poacher!
That combo with Blood Doctor is pretty genius! If i were any good anymore I'd try it myself.

great video! maybe its just my algorithm but i rarely see these kinds of videos that inform about the mechanics and weapons of tc2, so seeing them once in a while is really nice. i should check out your other videos as well......

The “hit a headshot and miss every other shot” rifle.
I do want to add, the scope for snipers is usually seen as a balancing feature of the sniper rifle, making it harder to kill at short range. So with no scope, it’s a technical buff.
0:31 You technically have a higher dps than stock due to the flat damage bonus, but it’s a lower sustained dps due to constant reloading
I use it with the campers and turtle rock to become a marksman gardener

Team Fortress 2 Classic (mod) used to have the Poacher's Pride, it was stronger than this, but later was changed into the Hunting Revolver and It's my favourite weapon in the entire mod.

Hey brother! I know I'm late and this may've been fixed but the background music is a little bit loud in some instances and sort of muddles your voice, though, even with that, I loved the video!
the advantage i think is good for vs bosses mode (good for escaping cuz u can't see when using the sniper)
I think that using the razorback with the poacher's pride isn't usually useful. The reason why I say this is because tunnel vision is the biggest reason people would equip the razorback in the first place, since a scoped in marksman is the easiest target for an agent. Because the poacher's pride has no scope, just turning around like a normal person is just as effective at avoiding getting backstabbed. Using the stock mac 10 is much better I find since the 120 damage you deal is enough to leave any light class at 5 hp, leaving you to finish them off with the mac 10.
idk if it’s just my computer but about 1/3 of my shots with this just don’t land. not even head shots, they just don’t land. it doesn’t happen on regular rifles so idk. anyway really good video!

That's an error I made in the video. The shield being used in the clip is the raging bull, but the image and footage of the anniknight has the tide turner because they were recorded at different times.

Anthony what is your sensitivity? I stopped playing tc2 and i started playing tf2 and when i wanted to be back the roblox sensitivity started to be confusing to me so the way your sensitivity moves looks like my tf2 sensitivity, thanks! I Really want to play tc2 again!

falloff, why am i punished for playing the class as intended with a damage penalty? It’s hard enough to hit unscoped headshots as is, why do i do half damage at such a short distance?
