It's been 11 years that I've been developing my horse property a little at a time. I can appreciate all the work you've done with yours. It's quite the constant between new development, maintenance and repairs! Your facility is really nice! Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed the tour.
What a beautiful place, Tim! Thanks for taking us along to show us everything. The horses all are so happy and calm. So nice to see. What a transformation on Be Be from what he was- beautiful to see that.
So nice to see all of the parts of your facility and to meet the animals. I really enjoyed it. Thank you for taking all of us on a tour. Beautiful place with so much going on. All of the best to you and your staff.
Very nice, well thought out set up! The rv parking is a really great idea! Raising your own cattle is a goid way to go...and the benefits to a horses exposure is terrific!! Every horse in your barn shows the thoughtfulness and care they are given! There attitude and condition speaks volumn!
I enjoyed this video and I can tell that you care about the horses. I've learned a lot from you and I always like the way you explain everything.... the how and the why
Thanks Tim! I really enjoyed seeing the complete over view of your ranch. The introduction of the horses in the barn, and some words about each was fun. If I lived in the area, I'd probably hit you up to volunteer for chores just to have the opportunity to be around the horses. I'm a very hard worker, and am accustomed to working in heat, but it's Yuma heat. The humidity could possibly make me worthless. You should be very proud of what you've built. Very nice operation. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful place. ❤️🌵☀️⛈️🌈☮️🐎
my favorite vid from you so far! love your rescue horse with his discordant ears. gotta wonder about his past, like if he was orphaned or something weird.
Nice set up. Let me ask you if you don't mind. do you got issiues with the cows or horses going threw the fences more so electric or I thought I saw some no climb Also do you drag? I think it's wonderful you have free access to hay I'm in Florida I've worked some small facilities that are weeds or sand pits & the owners don't offer a round bale or square bale but just throw hay 3x a day & wonder why horses are going threw fences or eatting the wood fence or trees. Thank you for the tour
Thank You for the tour really enjoyed it , like your video's ! i have always wanted to know how many horses are actually just yours and maybe you can let us see your own !
please show us how you have the horses tied on the single tie in the shedrow in the barn. How do you get the turnbuckle out of the way when not in use?
I've done a couple videos on how I put it there, I'll try to find a link. It only takes a time or 2 of running into it and you won't forget about it again. Lol.
Beautiful set up! all the horses look happy being in the barn. Also Interested in how you tie horses in the barn. Looking for a different way to tie my horse who tends to pull back an break stuff.
@@ridinghorses-ri6zuI use rope halters and tied on lead ropes for habitual suck backs. No hardware to break. I've got tie blocker type rings where they get slack in rope when they suck back, just tie knot on end or they can get lose if they pull enough to slide rope free. You can also get an inner tube to tie them to or you can go old school and tie to a big solid post and let them figure out they can't get loose.
Great set up. So nice to be able to “trail ride” in a bit more of a controlled setting for the youngsters. When the heat and humidity are severe do you wait out the middle of the day? I’d assume you can’t if you have a full barn. I’m in souther California and we’re at 100+ but no humidity so it’s not quite as hard on them.
Some horse handle the heat better than others. I take that into account when deciding which ones to ride when but yes I do ride all day. My covered arena helps.
I love seeing other facilities and how people do things. You really got the weight off the mare. I wouldn't have recognized her except for the #3 brand. Looking at your young bull I wouldn't count him out as far as breeding goes this year. He looks plenty big and when it is cooler he may just get all 3 bred in short order! I wonder if you will get comments about no hay while stalled?? My horses don't have 24/7 hay and while out on pasture now 24/7 2 of them are muzzled 17 hours a day because their weight is just too good. In this heat and with the bugs mine all put themselves inside during the day. Are you going to live on site eventually?
Great questions. No one yet has commented on no hay in the stalls. They get free choice hay fir the 12 hours they are out so they just don't eat it in the stalls. Also they are fed 3 time during the q2 hours they are in so they are very content.
@@timandersonhorsetraining They do look content and are in excellent weight on your routine and I've never fed hay free choice but it seems to be common practice these days for the horses to be able to eat all the time.
❤ loved the tour. Why are the horse stables lower inside? Is it for cleaning easier by hosing or is it some psychology of training? Is it safety if a horse is wild he cant jump out easily? I love the way you just lift up the small window bar sections to open, no fiddly latch. Have any of the horses worked out how to lift it?
Basically all of the dirt was the same hight and the concrete in the isle was poured on top. That's the only reason the stalls are lower. I could have come back afterwards and filled them in to bring g them level but I didn't see where the expense was worth it.
@@timandersonhorsetraining oh ok. So the stalls have dirt floors not concrete? I was envisaging a setup like some caravan parks have where their shower stalls have an open drain running along the back of them all so that hosing and cleaning is easier....
Great question! Generally the cows head will indicate where he is going to go before he goes there, but not always. Like a football player throwing a fake move. The horse needs to learn to read those fake moves and not get faked out by the head.
Wondered about that myself. I'm guessing the Florida panhandle or south Texas. I especially like the airiness of the stable and the ceiling fans are a big plus.
You can tell these horses are happy....calm and lookin good!! And they recognize you...and not afraid!
Thank you for showing us your facility and horses. Looks great with beautiful trees all around.

Oh Rett ! I thought « rat »…🐀 beautiful horses there ! 🐴♥ And facilities 👍
So well designed for the comfort of very fortunate horses. Would that all animals could be cared for as well. 😍👏

Really nice place that's laid out well. Can tell alot of thought went into it. Well done & thanks for sharing. You are one impressive trainer.
Enjoyed the tour. You have a very nice barn. I can see how the horses like being in it.
Thanks for sharing. Good place to be.
Nice spread! A lot of us dream of owning something like it.
I like how the opening just close so easy.
Great video ❤️🤍💙✌️

Some drone footage would have been really cool when talking about the layout of the whole area.
Yes it would but drones are expensive.

@timandersonhorsetraining very cool facility. What are sliders? For brakes/stopping?

Loved the tour!! I was waiting for your personal riding horse. Did I miss him or her? Or don't you have time for a personal riding horse? 😂

What company did you use to build your riding arena and what is the size of it??
Carolina Carports
❤Tim what do you mean by cows being honest or not?

@@timandersonhorsetraining thanks for replying Tim. So does the cow do this deliberately or is it just a natural quirk?
Can you tell me where you are located please
