The next scene shows that she is free and her prince charming pulls her in the room.Soon she realizes that she is finding that prince charming in her husband but she knows that she can't leave this relationship due to her responsibilties of being a good mother and a good wife. Being a married woman with a busy husband I can totally relate to this. It is not that, that our husband's don't love us, but they are sometimes very inconsiderate unintentionally. They know that they want some time for themselves out of their hectic routine. But they don't understand that we need some love, after the whole day with overwhelming burden of responsibilities n lonesome moments! We need to teach our men the importance being emotionally available to wives. They are not the culprits, but not taught about it!

The movie is simply saying that living in married relationships that are void of connection and love, drives many women to depression, if not madness! Had basic love and caring relationship been there between her and the husband, she could have been just fine. All she needed was being seen, not being equal to a maid. To be free from loneliness, and being invisible.
Sadly, this is a true depiction of many many housewives’ lives that I have personally come to witness throughout the years. Ceaseless sadness and despair, mainly because of lack of basic gratitude and loving kindness from the spouses.
In this instance it's not a lack of love, but a lack of communication. Women are by nature emotional beings, whereas men are more practical, so women must educate men on this, communicate their needs to them and claim their time instead of falling into a rut and causing loneliness for herself.
Also, it's good to have a genuine, sincere friend or two to spend time with. Whom one can turn to for advice and just to speak with. If we as women give each other support this world would be a much better place.

Sherzad a true representation of today's society where the marital relations become so indifferent to each other that they wanted to escape their knot ,but heavy burdens of responsibilities and norms of society doesn't allow them to free.

Every husband works for wife . Those who judge his hardwork otherwise are mistaken at best.
They are working hard for themselves, they want to prove to the world how good they are. Reality check ; they have no love lost for their family. 98% of such type of husbands are having a good time with their female office colleagues.
Husbands really don't want to prove anything to anyone. They literally do things for their families, for their bright future, and to fulfil his wife wants n needs. However, one thing they should realize with that too is some wives are not materialistic and need his attention/love/time rather than things. This basically happen because of communication gap. So, it's always two-sided; either husband or wife, both need to talk and discuss despite of how busy they're.

Agreed. I think this was made with a female audience in mind because of the storyline but perhaps Mahira Khan as the lead draw a male audience also. Though your point is strong, it would help communicate loneliness and longing to husbands. Especially because they didn’t portray him as “bad”, just regular and common which was an excellent choice, it will make people less defensive (and hopefully more receptive to the message) because there isnt any direct blame!

Don’t compare your life with people’s life, these movies ,dramas etc or you will end up being unhappy miserable. Your story is written by Allah Almighty , Trust me it can’t be better then what you have.

you deserve to be happy, you don't need to beg for it. I did the same, I've 2 daughters, i left him 3 years ago. alhamdulillah I am happy. I won't deny that I am alone, struggling, broke, and pressurized but at the same time i am learning, growing, and living on my terms. atleast i am not scared of losing someone, at least i am not scared of being kicked, atleast i am not scared of being tortured mentally, emotionally, and physically. And inshallah one day, we ( you, me, & all those women who're going through this) will be happy.
