The Pink Panther tries to mow his lawn, but his lawn mower is missing a spark plug. He gets the only spare plug he has but ultimately loses grip on it. It somehow wounds up in the backyard of an aggressive bulldog and as a result, the panther tries repeatedly to get the plug from the dog’s grip. You will get some laughter in this cartoon. The ending is also very surprising when the panther starts the lawn mower, it suddenly starts snowfall. The panther then gets an idea and uses a sleigh and two dogs instead
Once again the Pink Panther has to face an angry bulldog in someone's yard. 4:30 - 5:17 is pretty much recycling a gag from "The Pink Package Plot" using the same plot device (but I do love the music at that part!)
So he could get all those gadgets and spend all that time trying to retrieve the spark plug, but didn't think to just buy a new one for far less cost and hassle? Also there were plenty of times he had it in his hand but dropped it before the dog chewed him up and threw him out - if he'd just held onto it he could have taken his beating and walked away successful. Good ol' cartoon logic!
I wish there could’ve been a Pink Panther episode called Pink-Triloquist where Pink Panther gets chased by a dog after writing I hate Dogs all over the fence and starts to be a ventriloquist to outsmart the dog and has a happy ending
