I mean this makes sense for a merger + acquisition or buying a commodity or stock flat out for swing trading, but since he’s scalping, I’m curious to understand how he manages his drawdown and where his stops would be.

This can work given the condition that the entire sector is expected to gain, not a zero sum game. You still have to have tight SL in place. There could be a reason why the ticker hasn't moved or even move against the sector while others have.

What BS! Can't give the cars analogy for stocks. No 2 stocks are the same. So, he is saying that just because AMD cut the price of its chips then NVDA would have. to do the same? Nope. Demand for AMD would not be more than demand for NVDA because NVDA is just in demand. He doesn't understand supply and demand.

You're trying to just apply an analogy to a very specific area where two companies dominate and 1 has a technology monopoly. It's an awful example.
In cheap car manufacturing, where like the same 15 car manufacturers fight to provide a cars between $15,000 - $30,000. The stuff he describes go on all the time, as they fight to get cheaper and cheaper to get the sales. The same thing that happens in air travel with Ryanair, easyjet etc...These decisions do have longterm effects on the prices of stock, infact the companies entire model relies on being cheapest, if they're not... it will likely go bust.
Considering hes a scalper, his analogy is pointless though. Hes trading on timeframes where that sort of information means nothing, and it willn't effect the outcome of his trades ever. You can't get a second by second valuation of a company. He is actually trading price, more than any of us.
