I remember the times I was a kid and I used to think that war was a cool thing that you go and kill your enemy and now I see that war isn’t as cool as it used to be… your work hard and train hard to pass boot camp and learn what it means to become a soldier.. you learn more about the world and it’s problems… you know when it’s your time to shine you might not come back alive you can lose your platoons and friends… when you see the fire and destruction the screams of your comrades that have a missing limb you see what war truly is… it’s a never ending battle of torture and despair…
Basically is just sad that your loves one is going to war without knowing that if they can comeback alive my grandfather was on the ship that is call USS Lexington and he was killed by the explosion till this day my parent went to visit his grave

I know it's a supposed to be a movie, but those flaming guys at Stalingrad, on the Stalingrad scene would have all died, cause the Germans had a MG34 which could fire 950-1450 rounds per minute. so, none of them would have made it up that hill. (edit) Also, they had 200 rounds in a drum, but that guy was using a Belt, so, about 300-as many belts as you have (cause the belts could connect to make a massive one, normally it would be 1,000+ rounds in a belt box though.)

at 21 years old my great uncle jumped in without hesitation to bleed the sand red at Normandy. He lost his life on Utah beach.
