Criminally underrated channel
FNAF AR’s biggest fault was that Illumix was very neglectful with updates. Even with Illumix mentioning that FNAF AR is shutting down, they still didn’t tell us why.
It’s obvious they just aren’t interested anymore. Illumix is a poorly managed company, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up being shut down overtime.
Scott had a good intention with giving Illumix the ability to make a game based off FNAF, but his biggest fault is that he’s too nice. He does something with a good intention, but he doesn’t really think of the long term effect this would have.
Even from a lore standpoint, the game just gives you emails, and that’s it. Thanks to the Wiki, we got all the emails, and it’s pretty much just info that security breach could have told us.
Overall, I’m not surprised FNAF AR is being shut down. I don’t regret paying real money for the in game money. I didn’t even have to spend real money to get Funtime Freddy, I was lucky to get both his CPU and Suit. XD
Even though this game was poorly handled, and Illumix did a lack luster performance with it, I will only keep the good memories of this game.
FNAF AR is the only FNAF game that I gave the lowest score. It’s a 6.5/10

Yeah I'll definitely be playing through the final event, just to see some of the content I couldn't get to in my playthrough. The characterisation of the animatronics was really cool iirc. Honestly yeah if the RNG was more forgiving, I would have played a lot more than I originally did. I think a lot of people wrote this game off merely for having microtransactions but as far as these games go, they really weren't that bad.

The main reason I disliked the game is because it doxxes you if you play it (it *requires* location services, which means you can't play without it showing your GPS location, which is why no one even uploads gameplay of it)
But now that the game is shutting down I hope another game studio is able to remake this for Console and PC, without the p2w and doxxing stuff.

Just because they get hated doesn't mean they share the same problems.
FNaF World got hated because the fanbase are bitching about the game lacks of fear factor (FNaF is horror game, what a surprise)
FNaF AR got hated because of predatory micro transactions, bad gameplays, and lacks of updates

You can glitch on fnaf ar if you got toxic foxy or something but you didnt unlocked that animatronic you still have toxic foxy or something and you can replace that

The thing with fnaf world is while some hate it, it also has this following of people that absolutely love it, while ar doesnt have that as much. Plus fnaf world seems more spinoff than ar does, at least a little.
