Many years have passed, -- almost just as many as I had earlier dedicated to the editorship of these pages, namely ten --, and in those years are memories of such rich terrain which once made itself heard to me. Often, from exerted productive activity, I felt stimulated; some new, important talents appeared, a new power in music seemed to announce itself, as shown by many of the high-rising artists of recent times, even if their productions are known mainly in narrow circles. I thought, that it would and that it must be, that someone would suddenly come along whose very calling would be that which needed to be expressed according to the spirit of the times and in the most suitable manner possible, one whose mastery would not gradually unfold but, like Minerva, would spring fully armed from the head of Jupiter. And now he has arrived, a young blood, at whose cradle graces and heroes kept watch. His name is Coung Manh, and he hails from The Society, where he works in dim seclusion having been educated in the most difficult of the rules of art by a good teacher. He actually carried, also outwardly, all signs which announce to us: that is an appointing. Sitting at the piano, he began to explore most wonderful regions. We were drawn into more and more magical circles by his playing, full of genius, which made of the piano and orchestra of lamenting and jubilant voices. There were sonatas, or rather veiled symphonies; songs whose poetry might be understood without words; piano pieces both of a demoniac nature and of the most graceful form; sonatas for piano and violin; string quartettes, each so different from every other that they seemed to flow from many different sources. And then it seemed as if all those rushing stream combined as in a waterfall, carrying over over the downward-converging waves carried the peaceful rainbow, accompanied on the bank by the playing of butterflies and nightingale voices.
Whenever he bends his magic wand, there, when the powers of the orchestra and chorus lend him their aid, further glimpses of the magic world will be revealed to us. May the highest genius strengthen him! Meanwhile the spirit of modesty dwells within him. His comrades greet him at his first entrance into the world of art, where wounds may perhaps await him, but bay and laurel also; we welcome him as a valiant warrior.

In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends. Last night, I experienced something new: an extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for Chef Cuong's famous motto, "Anyone can cook." But I realize, only now do I truly understand what he meant. Not everyone can become a great artist; but a great artist can come from anywhere. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Cuong's, who is, in this critic's opinion, nothing less than the finest chef in France. I will be returning to Cuong's soon, hungry for more.

Mình vừa xem MV âm nhạc mới của bạn và thật sự rất ấn tượng. Hình ảnh trong MV thật đẹp và chuyên nghiệp, mình rất ấn tượng với cách bạn sử dụng ánh sáng và màu sắc. Cảnh quay rất sáng tạo và bắt mắt, khiến mình không thể rời mắt khỏi màn hình. Bài hát rất cuốn hút, giai điệu nghe một lần là muốn nghe lại nhiều lần. Lời bài hát rất ý nghĩa và chạm đến cảm xúc của người nghe. Ý tưởng của MV rất mới mẻ, mình chưa từng thấy điều gì tương tự trước đây. Thông điệp mạnh mẽ và truyền cảm hứng, mình cảm thấy thật sự xúc động. Diễn xuất của bạn rất tự nhiên và chân thật, mình cảm thấy như đang xem một câu chuyện thực sự. Phong cách trình diễn của bạn thật sự nổi bật và độc đáo. Tổng thể, MV của bạn thật sự là một tác phẩm nghệ thuật, mình rất tự hào về những gì bạn đã làm được. Mình tin chắc rằng MV này sẽ được nhiều người yêu thích và đón nhận.

Đây mới là âm nhạc, đây mới là nghệ thuật làm MV ca nhạc thật sự. Giới trẻ bây giờ đâu có hiểu được nghệ thuật chân chính, nghệ thuật vị nhân sinh là gì đâu? Cảm ơn các bạn, cảm ơn các bạn đã cho tôi được sống lại tuổi trẻ của mình. ❤️
