    So it’s as easy as going back in your mind to the situation, rewriting it, then my my life starts to improve because my old memory has been erased. It’s like changing the foundation of a structure for a better house 😮

    • @selfcodesociety
      @selfcodesociety  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yes, similar to your analogy. A house is an actual physical structure, where as our past is not. Because it exists as memories in our own imagination, that is what gives us the power to reshape it.

    TY, Your teaching is clear and to the point. What I most liked about this topic of recapitulation is that it gives people a specific and powerful method to gain/regain their personal power and live witrh joy internally and happiness externally with unbending intent.

    "Look how he abused me and beat me, how he threw me down and robbed me." Live with such thoughts and you live in hate. "Look how he abused me and beat me, how he threw me down and robbed me." Abandon such thoughts, and live in love. The greatest cause of suffering is ignorance. -- from the Dhammapada, the teachings of the Buddha.

    Hi, this is interesting. However can you give an example how to change a negative situation into something positive please? For example I failed an exam when I was a child, how can I change this memory into something positive? Or an ex boyfriend said something painful,nasty about me to others, how can I see this as a positive experience?

    • @selfcodesociety
      @selfcodesociety  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi Maddy, so situations are only "negative" when we put a negative label on it. I would invite you to look at or revisit the situation (ex: you failing the test) and question why or where the idea that "failing" that test was a negative thing. What if you "failing" that test led to really wonderful things in your life? What if from that failing that test - you decided to study harder or dedicate yourself in your new ways. (Obviously, I am making assumptions here, but hopefully you get the idea.) There is value in everything. Take a look at what you learned from that experience. How did you grow from that? Once that is clear, if you choose, you can revisit it and change it in your imagination to where you passed the test and celebrated and were so proud of yourself! You have many options here, all up to you. 🫶🏻
      The most powerful way we can transmute a painful experience is to forgive others/ourself (and release them/situations from having any control over us or our emotions) and discovering what wisdom/value came out of the painful situation. What did you learn about yourself when your ex spoke negatively about you.? What did you learn about him and your friends? Have you forgiven him? After you forgive him, it will be much easier to look back on/change the past experience. 🧡

    How far in the past can you go and you only need to do it one time? Thank you

    • @selfcodesociety
      @selfcodesociety  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi! You are in control of the "time limit." If you have an event/experience/memory that you want to revisit, "time" is irrelevant. The amount of times will also be a personal decision. If you FEEL an immediate change after one time, like something has shifted within you, than one time could be enough. If you choose, you can revisit experiences around that same time to reinforce what you created in the first rewrite. Let me know how it goes! :)

    Is the hypnotherapy needed to access these memories and rewrite them?

    • @selfcodesociety
      @selfcodesociety  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The hypnotic state is supportive and helpful to this work, because it reduces your resistance and objections to rewriting the past. We move through hypnotic states constantly throughout the day. When we are driving and watching television/movies we are in a light hypnotic state. If you wanted to do this work during the day I would simply suggest you get your body and mind VERY loose and relaxed and make sure you wont have any interruptions. 🧡

    • @selfcodesociety

      @@iamphoenix5376 You do not need them to be with you in any capacity. You go into the safety of your own imagination and you alter/update/change the memories to however would BEST support you (your growth, evolution, health, vitality, etc). You set yourself free and give yourself the medicine you need to heal those hurts. 🙏🏻

    I used to pretend a family from tv was my family. Could this be my new memory?

    • @selfcodesociety
      @selfcodesociety  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Possibly. Each time you do this work you are creating "new/past" memories with that family that are shaping who you are today (ideally we want these memories positive and joyful). The idea now is that those positive memories live in your mind and help move you forward to your highest and best self. Make sure to be creating memories that are helpful, supportive and loving. 🧡
