I was thinking "why are people suffering and in war and going through all the difficulties....Why are others spending so much time and effort in worship...if jannah is promised anyways. Why does this happen? And why bother? And what about the big difficult things as oppose to the little small things?
But the example made sense. Different rewards and levels were written for people already. To make them feel like its deserved...They go through the dunya struggles and worship to make it feel like it was deserved. The higher the rewards the more that is required to feel like its deserved.
