I totally agree that these are great adventure videos and how you guys find these little hidden gems that I’m sure not many people get to go and see, looks like it actually turned out to be a beautiful day after all, love the video and drone footage as well❤️😊🌞
Hi Nate and Malinda so good to see you doing another great video!! Really appreciate all you do to show us all the amazing places on American Samoa.. Thank you ❤
Fa'afetai for the adventure video! You have to do the videos you like to do from time to time...that's what keeps you Fia Fia! ❤️ TY for sharing, see you next video!
Love the adventures video was born in vaitogi village so really would love a video of vaitogi as i left at nine years of age my other half is palagi so my kids are half samoan and half mixed white would love show them my birth place.
Melinda I wish I can wear a tank top like you right now, it’s cold here tomorrow it will be 32! I just can feel the warmth of sun back home sure miss home! 💜🥶
I LOVE the adventure videos most. The boat videos make me nervous. Growing up we had sailboats, and I always felt unsafe aboard...maybe it's a hold-over feeling from those days, but be that as it may, I watch them all like a good little soldier.
Nice video! I enjoy the scenery when you take us for a ride! Im glad Nate is cautious with the ocean. The cave was kinda neat to see. Love the drone footage. Heck, i liked it all!.....thank you for the videos.
Love this adventure. We are coming in October to American Samoa. We noticed that you asked permission to go swimming on the beach. Is it not like Hawaii or Puerto Rico where you can walk on any beach you wish? We are avid travelers and want to respect the culture of the island. Aloha. Mahalo nui loa.
Love the adventurous places you went to. Love that you always go as a family and the kids are having great time..somethng they will always remember when they get older and would probably think about from a different country of residence.
I love your adventure videos. Do Utamea village sometime., 50 years ago I lived in Samoa and my family went to Utamea beach almost every Saturday.. the diving was great and it was a nice place for small kids to play.
Hi Nate the cave that you went first that's the big cave but when hurricane ofa and val hit Tutuila on 1989 and 1990 that's why the cave was cover and kind like a lot of rock cover the entry to the cave but that cave i don't know where it end, I grew up over there my whole life and that were I from, thanks for the video brother and God bless you and your family
Hi guys I just seen you guys videos and really love it. So the real story behind the anape'ape'a cave was used to be an escape cave that runs from afono village to the village of Auto. Feel free to go check out the other end of the cave which you will find in the village of Auto. Ask the village people to show you where the anape'ape'a is in the village and they will show you. Don't worry you don't need to hike to it or use the kayak. Thousand of years ago a natural disaster cause the cave to collapse and that's all the it left.
Hi Nate and Melinda thanks for sharing all the beauty of American Samoa….never saw a video of you guys in Masefau Bay is there any chance you can visit Masefau Bay some day be safe take care n stay blessed
Yes, we really want to. We have a friend whose family comes from there and we’ve been waiting for our schedules to match up with the tide. 😄 Hopefully soon 🤞 or we might just have to explore it on our on 😊
Thank you for taking me inside the Anape'ape'a caves. I wonder if this is the same place only in American Samoa where there are no mosquitoes? Underground military bunkers are some of the things everybody in AS know little to nothing about. Enjoy all your videos accept when you're out in the deep blue; I keep picturing a great white coming at any moment. Sorry, grew up when Jaws came out, LOL!!!! Please stay safe and keep those videos coming. Actually exploring my island for the first time!!!
That's awesome, glad ya are enjoying yourselves. Stay safe out there, just read the news there has been 39 covid cases in Am. Samoa. Hopefully they'll contain it and this won't spread like wild fire.
Definitely bring one with you. I think we’ve seen SUPs for sale one time during our years here. You can find kayaks from time to time, but if you’re wanting a paddle board specifically, I’d say bring it.
As usual, another awesome adventurous video👌 I’ve probably been to only 20% of the places y’all went to🤙 Thank y’all for sharing🤙 Keep it coming and y’all be safe!❤️
October to April is not a good time for the north shores. April to October we are flat as a lake almost every day. It's why when ever the trade winds shift, we who dive to spearfish, occupy the west and south shores.
Yes, I was thinking about that as I edited this and listened to everything Nate was saying. Like, “Of course the waves were big that day”. 🤦🏻♀️ We’ll have to come back later, when we can all have the chance to go check out the caves again.
I totally agree that these are great adventure videos and how you guys find these little hidden gems that I’m sure not many people get to go and see, looks like it actually turned out to be a beautiful day after all, love the video and drone footage as well❤️😊🌞

Not planning on stopping anytime soon 🤙
Beautiful!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽 also what’s the name of the song in the beginning of the video ?
I always love the view up there! Never knew the aga pe'ape'a is there!
Is that the Samoan name for the sheath-tailed bats? It’s beautiful ❤️
Actually no, ana pe'ape'a is just the samoan name for cave of bats!😊
@@fiaavaesemo6852 sounds prettier in Samoan ❤️
Ayeeeee🤙should let me know when you come back to visit my village
Fantastic footage of the scenery! And the cave! Beautiful and interesting to think of the history of that cave. Thnx
We agree, it’s fun to imagine how it was ❤️
Awesome videos 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Whoa! Yeah, we’ll definitely go ask around. What would it be like to walk the cave through the island! Thanks for sharing this story ❤️
I love watching your videos.

Maybe the caves hide the tunnel access where people were said to walk to and from Savaii?
Another excellent video, thanks!

my dads village 😍😍
It’s beautiful ❤️❤️
Great video! You have more guts than I do, Nate. I would feel better in a boat, than a kayak. Just me Looks like all of you had a great time :)
Haha, always up for an adventure 😊
Awesome explore...

Afono 😍😍
That's awesome, glad ya are enjoying yourselves. Stay safe out there, just read the news there has been 39 covid cases in Am. Samoa. Hopefully they'll contain it and this won't spread like wild fire.
Great video yall. I have an important question. Do you suggest bring an inflatable board with me or buy one there? Going there for one year for work.
Definitely bring one with you. I think we’ve seen SUPs for sale one time during our years here. You can find kayaks from time to time, but if you’re wanting a paddle board specifically, I’d say bring it.

Are there snakes in American Samoa?
