That's from the season 2 finale 'Mother's Day', Jamie and Danny are having a fight about Joe in that scene. That's definitely one of my favorite episodes of the series, there's a lot of good Jamie/Danny in that episode. Thanks so much for the comment, I'm really glad you liked the video! :)
One scene that was brief was interesting. It was disclosed that Danny and Jamie never really got along; it turned out that it was Joe, the deceased brother, who bound all the siblings together, and it had become difficult for them to interact b/c Joe was no longer there. The telling scene was the find of the couple that had kidnapped a child after school, and the two brothers went off to try to find the little boy. Jamie eagerly went with Danny (even though a Sunday, every off-duty cop must carry at least their backup gun, possibly in a leg/ankle holster so that it is not conspicuous. Danny takes the front door, and Jamie covers the rear. The little boy was recovered and returned to his mother, on Mother's Day, so the guys got kudos from everybody, but the most important thing was they agreed they needed to work on the relationship that had escaped them in younger years.
I love blue bloods awesome show. I love the family gathering eating all together at the end of the day...... Something I want to do once my kids have their own family or move out the house. Just beautiful.........
I consider Blue Bloods to be the most heart moving series on T.V. to date. The episode where this dying lady kidnaps Erin and asks her to look into her son's case blew my mind
I would Edwin, but kidnapping is NOT the way to do it. I would have went to her herself, and talked it out with her. Overall, she's very fortunate that she didn't end up in jail.
IMHO, both Jackie and Renzulli have given more than credible service to the series. As I have said elsewhere, she has been unfortunate to have an undiagnosed disease for over 20 years, which has apparently been identified by the Doctor she is now seeing who has expertise treating it. And Renzulli is one of those actors whose name never becomes a household word, but who gives solid performances when called upon. He handled himself well with Jamie while he was his TO, teaching him the tricks of the beat cop trade (IIRC, Renzulli was the TO for all the Reagan boys), and forming even, IMHO, a warm, almost father/son relationship with Jamie. He did a good enough job that Jamie was assigned to be Eddie's TO after 3 or 4 years as a student of Renzulli. And Frank had enough trust for Renzulli to ask him, confidentially, to accept the medal for the rescue of the 6 month old infant actually saved by Jamie, who would be in great trouble if his name and face were published b/c of the undercover job he did with some underworld thugs. Renzulli actually saved Jamie's life by agreeing to take the medal and then bury the secret forever; he was told by Frank he could not even tell his wife, so he understood the gravity of the circumstances.
Horrah Hurrah Blue Bloods! Love it from beginning to present time! Watch the others again and again and can practically do the parts! Lol! Funny Girl. God bless u all! U bring warmth to those whom don't have much family and it is well appreciated! Funny Girl
Well done, Sammi. The episode that always brings a knee jerk out of me is the killing of the homeless Marine by the worthless real estate guys, of which you included several key scenes. That was a very tense episode, and the scene where Danny tells Linda about the happy-go-Lucky Marine who went on patrol for Danny b/c of a sprained ankle, and took a sniper's bullet in his neck that killed him, finally discloses the underlying event of Danny's PTSD,. brings to the front row the issue of PTSD, and in Danny and Linda's case, explains the unresolved tension between them. At least now, Linda knows the core of Danny's affliction, and she will be better prepared to respond to Danny when he is "having a bad day". Back in 1980, when my Dad passed at the age of 60, our Mom told us 5 kids how our Dad went through about two years, when they were first married, of waking up screaming in the night, sweating and trembling, and she had to hold and comfort him to get him to calm down and get him back to sleep. They had different names for it in the two World Wars, Korea, VietNam and the Gulf, but the symptoms were the same, and in too many cases, they lasted as long as they did for the major character in "Saving Private Ryan". The key to easing of the internal turmoil would appear to be disclosure to the spouse, else marriages often fail b/c the afflicted partner keeps it bottled up inside, and the spouse is unable to figure out what is torturing the other, and to make allowances for it, and to pursue activities which will help to ease the affliction. The answer, of course, was summarized by a rock group back in the 1970s by the name of the Byrds, who had a very popular song out named, "Turn, Turn, Turn", and whose lyrics were quotations from the Bible which explain that there are reasons for everything, that the Almighty knows the reasons, and that we need to have faith in that fact and should try to discern the reasons and make them part of our lives. Those who have families, of course, already have both the reason and the cure to the affliction, which is to love their spouse and their children, and make them the center of their lives. That is the very simple reason, and it goes back to Pop's comment, that "the family is the original department of health, education, and welfare". So easy an answer, and how often it eludes so many!.
I hope "Jackie" gets her medical condition under good control, and that she is able to do well on her next assignment by the Production Co. She was a super partner for Danny. Maria is doing well, and has a good partnership with Danny; no reason to take her out b/c IMHO she's doing well.
I was looking forward to your ensemble video and you didn't disappoint. You did a wonderful job. Thanks for incorporating so many of the characters and relationships for the show! This vid comes just in time to build anticipation for season 3. Love it! Thanks for sharing!
Hayley Mikaelson 0:20 is season 1 episode 9, 0:26 is season 2 episode 6, and 1:59 is season 2 episode 9. I'm pretty sure those are the right episodes. I love Blue Bloods too!
Hayley Mikaelson I'm not too sure either, since I'm sort of new to Blue Bloods. I've been watching since November 2014. I've been doing a lot of catching up on ION, so I've seen most of Blue Bloods.
+x FightingHeart x I'm glad you like it! 0:25 is 2.06 Black and Blue, 0:42 is 1.18 To Tell the Truth, 1:53 is 2.06 Black and Blue, and 2:29 is 2.08 Thanksgiving. Thanks for the comment! :)
sportsygirl8 Thank you! No, I don't have a video with them in it at the moment. I really like both characters, so I'm sure my next Blue Bloods video will have them in it. Not to mention I'm kind of loving the idea of Jamie and Edie having a romance, so I might make a video for them at some point. Thanks for the comment! :)
SammiD44 You're very welcome! So, do I!!! I really like Edie and Baez reminds me a bit of Jackie in personality. I agree, I am also loving that as well, Jamie and Edie are cute together, I can't wait for them to actually get together!!! That would be awesome if you made a Jamko video! :)
SammiD44 Yep, it sure seems that way, and I'm sure sometime next season they'll be together. Wasn't Edie at the hospital with the Reagan family when Linda was shot? I can't remember it's been a few months.
I don't know why, but I don't like Baez that much. I liked Jackie better, and wise he had lasted longer, that's all. Eddie and Jamie are definitely very cute together. I just thought Jackie was the one that had much better chemistry with Danny. I mean, Danny had like five partners. He had that Flex guy, he had Baez, he had Erin, the FBI agent, Jackie, and he had that other lady, I forgot who her name was, but she was a good cop.
I think it is very difficult to make comparisons. Suitability of the actor for a part is up to the Cast Director, who tries to find an actor whose trait summary appears to closely approach the actor's own personal traits. Donnie and Will have two very different parts, and frankly they would both have great issues switching parts with the other; I think the series would bog down if that were attempted, b/c the scrappy Danny and the smoother Jamie would come out horrible if played by Will and Donnie, respectively. They would both be terrible, IMHO, but that would be the fault of the Casting Director, not the actor. How well they act, in the tenseness of a danger scene or the joy of a happy scene, is the time where they enhance, or play straight, or depress their own traits, when the acting in a series/scene calls for it. There is a vid on youtube I just finished watching with Will Estes taking questions from on-line fans, kind of a skype setup. In that he responded to a similar question from a fan, and I basically gave his answer here, b/c not being an actor and understanding what the job of the Casting Director is, is due to not being studied or practiced in that profession. But after hearing Will's response, I had to concur. The fact that Will and Vanessa get along so well personally is what drives their ability to act so smoothly on camera as Jamie and Eddie. And that makes ultimate sense. The scene of Eddie hanging all over Jamie's back in the middle of a residential street, trying to recover her cell phone from Jamie, can only be accomplished by actors who get along together very well to begin with. It's like watching the Three Stooges comedy films; it is so naturally funny, all you can do is laugh. When Eddie shakes her head at Jamie when she tells him "Girls like to date firefighters b/c they are seen by women in "beefcake magazines", Jamie says something about, well we should start one with guys from NYPD, and he puts his thumbs inside his jacket pockets, pushing out his chest as he struts around the car to get to the driver's door.. Vanessa's smile and head shake are classic, but only have depth if she pictures Will in such a magazine, b/c she knows what her reaction would be. Will is a handsome guy, but not exactly beefcake material, or a guy to be leered at by raucus women in a male strip joint. My 2 cents. When she breaks into the male dressing room looking for Jamie, he is in only his boxer shorts, and she takes a look and doesn't blink at it all. They are good friends, professional actors, and she is no stranger to the male body. Yet she warns him not to get any ideas about joining her while she is dressing and doing makeup. Typical Eddie/Vanessa.
She apparently had suffered from undiagnosed Celiac Disease, wherein your large and small intestines do not do a proper job extracting nutrients from the food and drink you take in. Consequently your body does not get enough of proper nutrition, the intestines perforate, and you become very weak, come down with what appears to be food allergies (although the foods that give you allergic reactions continually change, leaving you and your Doctor wondering what is going on.) The weakness leaves you with no stamina, so you either fall down, or collapse unconscious while under physical stress (as happened to Jackie while shooting a scene in the Blue Bloods show). She met with a "talk Show" Doctor who was familiar with her issues, and he invited her onto his show so that she could explain her dilemma. She said she was thankful for the opportunity, because fans were being rather unkind with the show's bosses, and she wanted to let everyone know that she was ill, but not in critical condition, and now that she had found a Doctor who finally gave her an accurate diagnosis (after 20 years of problems) she was working on a program of medication, nutrition, and PT to try to recover. I saw somewhere in the last 4 or 5 days that she had been given a slot in another of the shows done by the production company, so hopefully she will get on the train to recovery.

Yeah, but that lady was lucky she didn't end up in jail because Erin is an officer of the court.
Come on Derek you would do anything and evrything for your child.
I would Edwin, but kidnapping is NOT the way to do it. I would have went to her herself, and talked it out with her. Overall, she's very fortunate that she didn't end up in jail.
Well lets just say neither you nor l ever encounter such a situation. Thank you for your time responding to my comments, Have a wonderful life Derek.
I'm with you on that Edwin. Hope you have a great life too Edwin.

What episode is the second one?
What is the épisode at 0:36 ? When Jamie and Danny "fight" ?
thatha_et_cie It's from the season 2 finale Mother's Day.
It's from the season 2 finale Mother's Day.
SammiD44 Thank you very much 😊
What happened to Danny's partner Jackie? What episode of 2012 was her last.
She had some kind of disease or something. That's why she didn't last that long. I liked her the best out of all his partners.
She apparently had suffered from undiagnosed Celiac Disease, wherein your large and small intestines do not do a proper job extracting nutrients from the food and drink you take in.
