Akita had written the song (an article says he had been holding on to it for some years ) but he may have tweaked it a bit from it's original form before giving it to Nakashima Mika to sing so that it would fit her situation (most of the lyrics feel very amazarashi or that is to say... they are very much like Akita's own story that appears in amazarashi songs but it is a song that can be related to by anyone and it certainly fit Nakashima's feelings at the time too). And yes I am very very sure that this song supported her heart through that difficult time. I recall reading that she had said she broke into tears when she first read the lyrics and was shocked by it. I believe this song is a masterpiece because whoever sings it... the feelings contained within it are never lost. If I have any information wrong in this regard please correct me.
