Youre meant to use a plastic U strip at the bottom of the board to keep the water out - instead of the adhesive strip (which is only meant for the sides of the boards)
I have adhesive strip and plastic u at the bottom. And adhesive at the top. I can’t see the point in putting adhesive at the sides. The sides are sealed. In this case, for once, I followed the instructions.
Tape goes on top and bottom not sides. H channel between sides to join panels. U channel over the tapes on the top and bottom. Bottom tape is vented to keep dust and bugs out while allowing condensation to disperse. Bottom u channel, same end as vented tape needs small weep holes to be drilled. So looks like bottom u channel doesn’t have weep holes.
Your pointing under your windows looks like it needs doing. My conservatory roof is doing exactly the same thing, but, I think rather than going up from the bottom I believe its coming down from the top/sides as the rubber is coming away in places, whatever, its a pain 😂😂
Way to get up there and drain it. Seems like just rubbing it helped after the vac. I have the exact same angled porch. No cover on this single layer poly. It has a black dist 2 inches at the end. After watching this will avoid the dust tape. Simply clean with a q tip and vinegar. May experiment with a clear tape to keep the dirt out. Theoretically the venting is happening at the open top.
Thanks for the video, I was thinking of putting on the end caps with breather tape. But I guess it does not work Did you get leaks in the vertical joints
Hiya Did you managed to get it dry? Im on nust planning to donsame roofing woth twin wall poly and im afraid it will get similar issues, any advice appreciated? Cheers
Mine is doing the same and when it builds up come into the room behind from under the rubber strips inside the plastic white stripping on top, I did seal with clear sealant but for some reason it did the same a week later, you don’t seem to have small end caps on the external white stripping which I do and when I took them off lots of water came out

A dry towel will absorb the water quickly. Water is absorbed by capillary action inside the channels of the polycarbonate panels.

It's still a mess with dirt

how do you clean the inside of it?

The water came out, but it might get back in again.

How did you fix it then?
@5.21 You can see the water level rise inside the roof. Look at the line where your "B" is in your title. Need to clean my lean to as well.
Hi what about the seal to wall what is used exactly
I used flashing tape.
Be careful with those kind of roofs, many people have fallen through them, or got themselves into right bother 😉
I'd just remove it off for it to drain and dry out properly.
They are bonded on at the top so removal is a pain
just seal the holes with sealant both ends
Hi mate like iit
How can you live with the shit state that roof is in?
