I’m thrilled that Ray and Sam are back for a third season (though I miss the warm setting of Ray’s elk adorned study). I always leave these episodes encouraged and challenged in the best way.
I am not a pastor but in teaching homeschool history I am beginning to see that my experiences as a white middle class American woman are not the same as my minority brother's and sister's experiences. I believe that as we look at scripture and apply it to our churches it can be helpful to acknowledge the oppression of minority people groups in America, to hear stories from people who have a different history in this country or around the world, and to learn to love them in ways that Paul would want us to spread grace, mercy, and peace.
Am I right in questioning whether a large chunk has been accidentally cut out of the middle of this episode? Ray seems to switch from explaining why there was a break in between Season 2 & 3 (Which I assume is the You're Not Crazy book), and jumps straight to what seems to be a comment on 2 Timothy 1:1-4? The video also seems to jump between him not wearing glasses and suddenly wearing them? Is this deliberate? Not wanting to criticise just wanting to make the most of the wisdom shared!
@@BenCotten that's a good point - however it does seem like quite a large chunk of the episode is gone - in previous seasons they have been close to 30 minutes and this is 19...

Maybe they announced something they weren't supposed to announce just yet and edited it out.
