Love Film Family but let’s just make it clear, I HATE HORROR 🤣 I really wish I had the ability to watch it and appreciate it but I just CANT. Props to you guys for being able to appreciate every single film genre !
Wow, Bigi's voice is very thick, and he's grown so much. That little boy I saw the first time is becoming a man. I am feeling old in the middle of 22 years of life.😢
So agreeeeee with Prince’s honourable mention. Let Me In was a good remake. You need to see the OG : Let The Right One In (2008). Also The Wolfman (2010) was soooo underrated. The gothic euphoria was incredible!
hey guys. i guess im the old one here, so my favorite horror movies are pshyco, the old version of the mummy, nightmare on elm street ( first one), jason ( 1st one), halloween (1st one).
Patricia Dejesus Psycho is def my fav too! Anthony Perkins was amazing in that movie. Well, gurl I think we’re in the same era lol because I loved Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees 🙌🏻
Happy Death Day is soooo good!!! I didn’t think that I would enjoy it but I loved it. Cracked me up to see how Prince and Bigi react to Tajs love for it Hahaha. But I agree with everything Taj says about it. Must be an age thing. I watched Train To Busan after hearing someone on the radio recommend it. Glad I did, loved it. Hereditary made me feel uneasy the whole way through. Even a bit sickly, like my heart was either in my throat or in my guts. Loved it The Conjuring...I found it absolutely boring. I don’t know why, I couldn’t get into it at all. Filmed great, but I literally fell asleep watching it both times. However I absolutely loved Insidious.
I do not have any of all of your extensive knowledge of horror films but I am glad to see "Get Out" on all of your lists. It is a multi-layered, excellent film.

I loved the Woman in Black, even if I annoyed my friends when the main character brought the dog to the house because I kept asking if the dog was okay. There was another one I liked which I have forgotten the name of but I remember the day I watched it (it was an important day in my country). But I remember there was a scene at the beginning with a tree.
Lots of love for horror movies. Awesome lists Film Family! High 5! Yes to nearly all of them. Except for Happy Death Day 1 & 2. I’ve not seen either one. I agree Bigi Tony Collette not being nominated for an Oscar in 2018 was appalling. She was stupendously fantastic in Hereditary and also touching on what you said I also personally don’t think there was a better performance from an actor that year. Although I may be partial being that I’m Aussie and I’m a huge fan of hers. I loved her in Muriel’s wedding 🙈😁 I think she’s such a talented actress. My number 2 is The Conjuring. I really don’t think I could add much more to what you guys said as I also agree that this was immaculately made. Personally feel when it comes to haunting, terrifying, suspenseful and intensely gripping James Wan really is the man. Hereditary. Massive shoutout to Ari Aster 👏Just WOW. And I feel like I need to say how old I am (in my 30s) because after watching this movie I honestly felt like I had to phone a friend to sleep over and leave my lights on I was genuinely bloody scared and that I think is saying a lot! only other movie I can say to date that truly messed with my head was IT (the first one) and I was a kid when I watched it. I still am scared of clowns to this day. If I saw one walking in the street towards me I’d one hundred and ten percent run the other way. Last comic con i went to someone was dressed up as Pennywise and though I did not run I did go in another direction 🙈😂 In saying that though I personally think thats what makes a great horror movie when some things just stay with you and gets to those raw parts of your psyche. I was thinking about Hereditary for days after seeing it. There was no way I could have guessed that ending and throughout the whole movie I was on the edge of my seat internally battling with myself whether I need to walk out get some air cause I was so frightened but at the same time couldn’t stop watching cause I just did not want to miss a beat! Trying to guess when a jump scare might happen so I can prepare myself for it, this movie well and truly scared the living daylights out of me. I loved loved loved it! Solid number 1 horror movie for me from the last decade.

Herediatary really had me thinking after I had watched it, I was almost like paranoid kept thinking about it lol. The grief scenes like when Toni cries as she finds charlie and when charlie dies and her brother is left in such shock and sadness, those scenes actually scared me, i was so shocked in scaredness. Those scenes just really got me. I'm with Taj on that being number 1. Bigi, I also love The Conjuring. It doesn't matter how many times I watch I still think about it and it still scares me lol. I enjoyed the movie Boy . The Boy story is about a doll that is treated like a human. Anyways “ Not trying to spoil it.” 😂 There’s this grandma and grandpa that went on a vacation and died and then a woman was originally taking care of the doll . Grandma and the grandpa made a list of what to do and what not to do with the doll. So, found out that the woman was afraid of the doll and put a cloth over the doll and set him to the side . 1 day latter a man came over to see what the doll was about. He broke the doll. The doll supposedly had spirits inside of him . He came to life living inside of the walls. Great movie 🎥. It’s good. Aka scary aka horrifying. I guess.😂😆
Just watched this and have to say I really like your top 10 movies! I have been a horrormovie lover for such a long time. Watched my first one ( the original Child’sPlay ) when I was 10. I’m 25 ( 26 on Halloween ) these days and still love to watch em. Nosferatu. First horror film. Silent movie about vampires, Dracula. Or.... Metropolis, first film about futuristic society and humanistic robots. Silent film. fritz Lang director. Way before the decade obviously, both films are almost 100 years old but a good look at the beginning of the genre in films.
