    Really appreciate the simple elegance of your stitchery journal. So inspiring. And I like how you made the various elements into their own page.

    Such a beautiful book. It inspires me to try some printing on fabric.

    Your book is beautiful and so inspirational would never have guessed you had only just started, as a beginner myself I am cherry picking ideas. Love your use of printed fabric, never done it but will be doing some research and trying it for myself. Could do a tutorial on how to attach the fabric pages into the book. Thank you for sharing your journey xx

      Hi Chris. There's nothing complicated about attaching a printed section and plenty of options like just overcast stitching it down or canther stitch it or putting stitching over some of the elements to anchor it. You'll work it out. It'll be different each time.

    Great job! Loved seeing all your pages! It is fun as I too am participating. I am stumped with the new prompt of the garden gate, I don"t want to copy Sarah"s so I am really putting on my thinking cap. Thanks for sharing!

    This is my first fabric book journal. I absolutely love it! I would like to know if you put anything between the pages, between the fabric itself. I would love to try and make one

    • @sarmaburdeu
      @sarmaburdeu  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Susan - apologies for the delayed response. the individual pages are sewn onto 'double page bases'. If you check #roxysjournalofstitcher Ep 56 it shows how construction is done.

      Hi, I simply find the image I want to use and print on 'fabric' I got from our local (Australian) Spotlight store that is fabric that can go through the printer. My printer is just a basic inkjet and it works so well.

    This is a wonderful and inspirational piece of art! Can you tell me how to print on fabric or recommend a site where I can learn? Thank you in advance for any help you can share.

    • @sarmaburdeu
      @sarmaburdeu  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Diane - I'm in Australia and I bought a packet of Inkjet Fabric Sheets from our big fabric store (Spotlight). I simply found the image I wanted (love Pinterest), saved it onto a Word document at the size I needed, then printed it on my little inkjet printer with the settings set to the highest quality. Then just peel the backing off and you have a fine fabric with your printed image.

    How do you get your printed images onto fabric?

    • @sarmaburdeu
      @sarmaburdeu  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Crystal. I use a 'fabric' that our local (Aussie) Spotlight store has that can go through an inkjet printer. It's fabric backed with paper and once you print, the baking paper just peels off and you're left with an image on fine fabric.
