But with that being said and since I already ordered the Destroyer 2LP colored vinyl pressing. I may as well order up one of these silver anniversary pressings too. You showed it off nicely. I am sure that these will sell out eventually since they only pressed 2500 copies. There are far many more Kiss collectors out there in numbers that are way over 2500. I’m not surprised that you wouldn’t be familiar with this album as I know you’re more of the early KISS music fan but I think you would enjoy it as it has the original band members involved with it and it’s the only reunion studio album released at the time. As far as ordering this edition unfortunately as I mentioned it sold out fairly quick on their website and available now on eBay for double and triple the asking price…no thanks! Within and Journey of 1000 Years still make my playlist to this day. I always saw this album as a kind of successor to The Elder, as it seemed to have a concept to it.
Absolutely has the concept feel! It seems like after the amazing success of DESTROYER being a concept debut it seems like KISS tried recapturing the magic of that album. Unfortunately for most artists lighting only strikes once with such an incredible achievement like that and with BETH being the biggest single off of it as well! Hey John, Yes I wish they could have reunited completely… not only as a band but as friends and stayed together long enough for several more albums of this caliber but the Millennium Concert that should have been ALIVE IV came out of it as well and is a good live album too! Hey Chris, Yes we all know that Peter and Ace only had one song on this album but they still appeared and it was better than not at all or no studio album at all! Aces song in your face should have been included as a bonus track as it was on the original Japanese cd. Would have been nice addition to this anniversary release.

A great album no matter who played guitar and drums on it. People praise CREATURES and theres 5 guitar players on it and Gene hardly plays bass on it. Psycho Circus is on my top 5 Kiss album list because it has great songs, sounds great and Peter and Ace play or sing on 3 songs . The title track, Raise your glasses, and Within are my favorite songs. Possibly the last great Kiss album even though i dig Monster pretty much
I totally agree, Gene and Paul could have let those 2 do more with the album but it’s still a fantastic album and one of my favorite go to albums! Monster got a poor wrap and is still not a favorite for some but I enjoy it for what it is, but then again I am a huge fan of The Elder too! Hey NammaN great hearing from you! Yea had to move quickly on this one due to the low numbers pressed and even lower pressings on the picture disc of only 500 which are always sold out in just hours. I’m always happy to get one into my collection for a fair price and one off the eBay market and out of their grubby hands…lol. Have a safe trip there and back whenever you have to leave, I guess a trip to the comic book shop will be in your future when you arrive for some new comic adventures! Hi Jeff, very nice. I love the crinkly effect as it looks close up that the disc is unplayable. Obviously from a distance, I see the discs are flat. I have never owned the album and I have heard it. I love the title track, but am not fussed with the other tracks. I also love the Ace Frehley b side In Your Face as the rhyming lyrics make me laugh. Do you have the Tour Edition on CD with the six live tracks?

I only have the 2014 vinyl reissue as it wasn’t available in vinyl in “98” only cd. Both vinyl copies that I have now sound identical on my equipment and to my ears! Take care and Thanks again! ~ Jeff
