My friend is so soft-hearted and kind. He hesitated on multiple clean shots, instinctively respecting the majestic creature before him. He couldn't stop admiring the stag - just seeing such an animal up close is a blessing, like something out of a folk story. As a native Mongolian, I've never even seen a maral in my life; it's truly mesmerizing. The shot at 37:12 is just perfect (photographically). I do feel a bit sorry for the stag - it’s a shame such a majestic creature had to die. But you’ve earned it, and you’ve shown such kindness and respect. Truly admirable.
It’s also funny that the locals were even more excited about the stag than you were! They couldn’t help themselves and immediately started skinning it, even thanking you for keeping the shoulders intact so they could enjoy more meat. 🤣🤣 You looked so confused, haha! Even though the stag was yours to claim, the locals were quick to get to work, already preparing a dish with it.

What cartridge are you shooting ? Maybe 264 Win Mag it looked like a belted magnum shell.
