First watchdogs was so good and gritty, plus Aidan was a great protagonist, the atmosphere and music is phenomenal, underrated as hell, I heard ubisoft changed the second one to more lighthearted and ridiculous because people were complaining about this one, unbelievable
for real, especially the audio logs, they are so fucked up. i remember this one from maurice about how they kept beating this guy till he started making inhuman squealing like a pig.
this is the best game in the watchs dogs series the gameplay feels like an action movie when you drive around the car parks at night doing the missions in stealth mode it's so satisfying

Out of the 3 watch dogs, i still have a greater appreciation and preference for the OG watch dogs It had multiple weapon selection You could be John wick outright Proper karma system You can buy and use your own vehicles A deeply immersive skill tree An amazing soundtrack Digital trips (I don't know about 2, but legion doesn't have them) The overall aesthetics (cold, gritty, it felt like one man's war against society itself) I liked Aiden and Wrnch so much, i pretty much finished the whole game with just those 2 (aiden for lethal, wrench for non-lethal) If only Ubisoft had not overpromised, this game wouldn't have been slanted as hard as it was at launch.. also should have gotten a 60fps patch (on a ps5, this feels so jarring)
This game has a special place in my heart, i hope they do what naughty dog and capcom been doing and make a remake with even better facial expressions, graphics, details, acting, selection, customization, multiplayer it will be goty contender 100%

Its okay for 2 and even legion to be more "lighthearted" than 1. It helps build the world to not always be bleak in Watch_Dogs. I do hope Watch_Dogs 3, or whatever they call the game after Legion, goes back to the serious and dark tones of WD1. Maybe even finally make Watch_Dogs and Assassins Creed fully merge.
They messed up the atmosphere so baaaad in the sequels if only they focused on updating the 1st game so at least we can get close to the E3 demo quality

Really sucks the way they went with Watch_Dogs 2 and eventually Legion. The people wanted Aiden and the people should've gotten him, I would love for them to make a Watch_Dogs II so to speak, where we continue with Aiden and stuff, got Clara, T-Bone, Jordi, etc. that would be awesome. Unlikely, but awesome.

@@katar89 But WD2 is a good game in my opinion. I initally didnt like how WD2 went but over time I loved it. The issue is in WD1 after you finish the game you feel like you have nothing to do, but that's not the case in WD2. But still both games are good in their own way.

This game really let me down. The gameplay nailed but it shit the bed when it came to the story. It should have focused more on Aiden and getting us to relate to him more.
The story and gameplay is good also the co op but the problem is how falsely advertised was this game the e3 would have blown gta 4 and 5 out of the water and actually focus a lot more on the co op I know it’s perfect but it could have been groundbreaking This game needs a remake if Ubisoft no longer has control of the trilogy.

They say the graphics are downgraded, ı agree but still they are georgeous
Ultra on PC still looks good. IMO it looks better than Legion... plays better too, and is more interesting
