Hopefully this isn't too late, but for some reason I can't move any of my text boxes (or any other boxes, like image boxes) with my mouse. I don't know if it's something to do with my settings, but it just doesn't work for me. 😰
If you go to the google doc and right click the image, it'll bring up an option that says "Save to Keep". After saving the image, click on Keep and right click the image you saved, there should be an option to save the image! However, it does come with a white background, so you'll need to use a background remover for that! Hope this helped
