This anime is very immersive, with no opening but instead scenes and ost to advance the story. I like it alot
At 7:33 The MAN GOD said when he was with him that's (mental form) thats means how he sees himself in his head [the only thing is that his mind is a 40 year old man not his body he was reborn (not that he took over the body) he still a 10 year old boy]
Something they skipped over in the backstory about Superds; The bony spear you see him holding all episode start out as a tail all Superd's have. The tail eventually hardens and falls off, becoming that Superd's specific weapon, that's part of the reason they feel so close to their weapons and why some of them didn't want to give theirs up for the dark spears that the Demon Lord Laplace offered them.

Yeah and adding on ruijerd, after accepting laplace's evil spear, eventually went mad and killed his family only coming to his senses after basically butchering and almost eating his son who tried to stop him. The spear he is using now used to be his son's.

since ghislaine wasnt literally holding onto them when they were transported she went somewhere else, since rudy grabbed onto eris they got teleported together. definitely for the best cuz if eris was alone she doesnt have a cool head and would probably end up dying because of it
Eris could have just been teleported not too far from home, due to how random it was, but without a sword that really does limit her survivable options.
@@Master10k2 they didn’t have a choice of where they were going to teleported, and that should’ve been quite very obvious. not sure how you came to that conclusion. and no, eris would not have been able to survive even with a sword, because she would need the basic necessities such as food and water shelter, which she has no idea how to get. quite a dumb comment you made
@Master10k2 I mean yeah that could of happened but assuming it did and she was able to make it home best case scenario she's married of to one of her cousins and/or used as a political pawn by either Paul's or Philips brother (who are at this point in the story the respective heads of there lines of the greyrat house) and worse case she's killed soon after she gets home to avoid a succession dispute.
When Eris was apologizing to Rudeus about pushing him she was referring to when she pushed him off on his 10th birthday because she regretted doing so.
well yes actually no after end of arc travel to home eris mentioned reason why she apology but I can't spoiled that I can't remember about rudueus mentioned or not so it is safe bet not to mention that possible spoiled which novel doesn't mention where episode is.

clarification on two things: 1) in relation to the difference between mind and body, there is actually a play of words in Japanese, a more accurate translation would be "astral projection " being this composed of the soul, therefore it refers to the shape of the " astral projection (soul)" and body do not match, which is strange; 2) the translation of the name of that god is wrong, the name is "Hitogama ", this composed of hito = human and gami = god, therefore a more accurate translation would be "the god of humans " or "the human god ", referring to the god of humans as a species.

One thing you gotta understand about Rudy is that life-experience-wise he basically is a child. He started withdrawing around puberty and then the bullying when he started high school basically sealed the deal and he's had no real human interaction since except online
When he reincarnated it made him seem super mature as an infant, but now his physical body is catching up to where he was emotionally. In this medieval world where people aren't expected to delay their development, this places him even further behind the curve. There are now a few kids around him who have accomplished more in life than he has. This is all new to him.
So this is sort of a turning point for him to find out if he can continue to grow up or if his new life is going to end just like his first ended. His first life didn't end with the truck -- that's just when his first body died. His first life ended when he started to withdraw from the world (around when he started middle school).
Eris even sort of admitting that she liked him was the greatest accomplishment he's ever had in both his lives.
give the studio props for the subtle detail of the walking montage showing Rudy lagging slightly behind hunched over showing how he's physically weaker and has less stamina compared to Eris whos for one older as well as having exception physical prowess for her age.
Also the teleportation left him drained.
Btw Ghislane is pronounced as Ghilane, without the 's'. It's silent.

This anime is gonna have multiple seasons, so we'll be in for a great long ride! Although I'm not sure if it will be seasonal (w/ season breaks to give more time to create this same standard of animation they've done) or maybe it's multi-cour w/ no breaks... not sure. But either way, I'm sooo happy we'll be getting a full adaptation of this story ^_^
Also idk if anyone knows this but this series will have the next 12 episodes after a 3 month break. There’s a total of 24 light novels and I suspect this half of the season will finish book 3 and next 12 episodes will finish at book 6. So at the rate that this series is going, this series can easily have 4 seasons and about 100 episodes if everything is adapted.

All the reactors be sleeping on my boi Ruijerd. Ghislaine is definitely strong, but she is a Sword King. The anime left out explaining the hierarchy of titles in the three major schools of swordplay, but they follow the same pattern as the magic tiers. Gods are the highest ranked members, followed by Emperors, then Kings, then Saints, then the basic-advanced levels that don’t earn you any title. So while Ghislaine is undeniably incredibly strong, there are still a fair number of other people that are comparable to or better than her.
They also didn’t emphasize this point enough in Ruijerd’s story, but the Superd were Laplace’s elite troops and he was their leader. Just based on that, it’s enough to know that he is at least comparable to Ghislaine, if not stronger than her.

When you start reading, i recommend you start at the beginning. Because there are missing context and dialog that only in the novel. If you don't want to then, start at volume 3.

They didn't mention this in this episode, but when Superd are younger, they have a tail, and as they grow older, the tail grows stiffer, until it falls off and becomes a spear

something that they dont really explain, and im not sure why, its rad as hell- the superd have tails until they mature into adults, and those tails fall off and harden into those spears. its such a cool character design, and im really bummed they didnt go into it in the show. however, this show still slaps so hard, from the writing, the gorgeous animation, all of it. im really glad you guys had such a great time with this one:]

The form Rudy takes is his Astral form, his soul basically. In that place the man god is speaking to his soul. It's not his "mental form".

Cour happened when the latter episodes comes later in the same year/ just shortly (3-6 months) after the first one appeared.
Season happened when the latter continuation aired more than 1 year after the first part appeared, and it could change studio too.
One thing that I think should have been added to the episode is that they literally fell through the air and only rudy was conscious. He literally had to save both lives because they were at least a kilometer in the air.
Presumably the demon races all have their last name being a play on their race. Ruijerd Superdia is a Superd, and Roxy Migurdia is a Migurd.

For information about Ghislaine and others, they are all transported into different places. The reason why they're not with her is that she's far from them when they were teleported. But yeah, you'll see her later on the series but I guarantee you guys that you'll love Ruijerd.

It is not just them, anyone who are exposed to that mana disturbance, they were all transported but no one knows where. The chief of Migurd Tribe did say that they saw many shooting stars last night - it is referring to people who are teleported to different places. It's not a spoiler if you've watched this episode.

The reason his ‘mental image’ is his previous body is because he lived in that body a *lot* longer than he’s lived in his current body. It’s the body he’s *used to.* Man God’s name in the web novels is Hitogami. I wish the anime used that name instead of Man God. And the Superd’s name is Ruijerd Superdia. His son broke his curse by destroying the cursed spear right before he died. The reason Superd’s consider their spears to be their souls is because when they are children, they have tails, and when they grow older, their tails stiffen and fall off, becoming spears.
Well if you listen to him speak he still says hitogami since that just literally means man-god. But I do agree with you, hitogami would look better in the subtitles too instead of man-god.

I think for me, it was a good episode, but there was a lot of important backstory missing. Like Ruijerd's backtory being cut kinda short. Also some emotion from roxy's dad wasn't very convincing like it was in the LN. Other than that, I'm excited for this arc
