Went and bought a dremel kit to cut out the slot and didn’t remember to use my dad’s friggin angle grinder 🤦♂️
Dremel comes always handy.
@ actually yeah. It’s underpowered but I’ve used it on multiple precision jobs.
I fully intend to go ‘old man’ and carve some wood with it. Looks to be fun. Just waiting for the dust mask so I get sediment deposit in my lungs (which ended my dad and grandpa’s ‘careers’ early on)

No need to do all this. You can use nails to make the holes and any old knife will cut the metal
