It’s criminal that ABC and this album in particular aren’t revered as much as they should be. Incredible in every way.
I revere it and despite all of the great music that has come since and all of the genres that I’ve been into, the Lexicon Of Love is way up there.

Honestly.....not many songs I consider perfect. To me, this song is perfection.
Martin Fry, a proper old school singer, not many can sing with the feel he has anymore. Great tone, pitch and dynamics.

The Lexicon Of Love album is such a phenomenal album. Every track is pure classic. All of My heart, Poison Arrow, Look Of Love, Many Happy Returns, Show Me, Tears Are Not Enough, Valentine's Day, Date Stamp, 4ever 2gether.....every song is CLASSIC!
And an album that still makes me happy after 42 years
Saw them do the whole album in Nottingham last year with a full orchestra..brilliant.

It's not really underrated at all. NME certified this album as one of the best 100 albums in 20th Century. Four of the singles went to the charts since the B------ (The group personally I don't like). but I like ABC

Great stuff. Audio lost the snare in the snare! lol. Common box snare sound as we hear often live. Engineers - refine the technique of recording a snare as it sounds. It'll take u another 5 minutes, then job done. Ladies nailing the BV's. Martin humbly leaves the stage to leave the band to get to it. ty 4 music
