You all should do a blind face off, where the two golfers don't know who they're playing against until they're both on the green. You guys know each other's games so well, I think it would be interesting to not be able to play around your opponent's strengths
Is there really any way to play around their strengths tho?
What they need to do is start hitting different colored balls, maybe not in this format but definitely the team and scrambles. I wanna root for team red and stuff like that.

This sounds cool! I was also thinking something similar, like they all okay their ball regularly up to the green, and then at the green they do a tee toss and whoever the first two is pointed they played against each for example if Steve was first chosen then grant was second and Steve shot par and grant shot birdie grant moves on. Something like that would be interesting in my opinion
So great to see the boys back at Pursell Farms, where it really all began for me becoming a dedicated fan 2 years ago. So inspirational to see the growth in everyone's channels over the years. Even has inspired me to post content of my own and have patience to build something with constant progress in mind. Keep up the great work and good luck getting to 1 million subs!

Just watched 2 of the last Tig vids and now this, Tig has shot -3 thru 8 against matt, -4 thru 7 against matt and -2 under thru 3 against Bubbie. Dude’s literally destroying right now.
He easily has the ability to be a pro and it isn’t recognised even amongst the boys and the viewers. Constantly compared to the others when it’s not even close

It would be cool to see maybe some sort of points deal through 6 months or the year on all tgere 2v2s and 3v3s and any challenge have some points on the line and tally up at the end of season and see who wins some new clubs or somethin

Having done it myself, (have an uncle in Birmingham) its definitely alot of fun, plenty of trees and they are not in the way usually lol! Also, I birdied that downhill par 3, #5 it was playing 8 iron the day i did it lol I think that hole downwind is harder than neutral or into it hehe, also a great vista for a pic! Hope you get out there soon!
Make a weekend trip and stay on the course. It’s beautiful. Also ride the UTV’s through the land for a great experience!

This course brings back memories. Lockdown was just kicking off here in the UK. I used to watch the vlogs when my pregnant wife went to bed. Helped take my mind off the craziness and uncertainty we were all going through.

@@LanceHarbor_ No yeah agreed. His misses aren't as harsh on his bad days. And he doesn't try to play hero Golf. Garrett is a great player, but I think he some times chooses shots for entertainment purposes which leads to a lot of hard misses. It'll be a short par 4 playing 370 and everyone pulls out driver trying to hit the green while Tig would opt out for his trusty 2 iron and play the hole to his strengths instead of tryna land a driver on a green surrounded by 20 bunkers.
@@juanblanco4131 I actually noticed that Tig just plays smart golf. He can obviously hit the shit out of the ball but he only does it when he wants too. I’m very interested in seeing how far he can take his road to pro

There’s no way Micah is right about a wet ball spinning 1K RPMs more. I’ve seen the tests on various other channels (TXG, Crossfield, etc). It appears we need a Good Good Labs video with TrackMan to settle the debate.
Yeah, he’s definitely wrong. It’s been shown repeatedly that a wet ball reduces spin, but often causes higher launch. 👍🏻
less total spin, but can possibly appear to spin more because of soft wet grippy green conditions.
@@steverupert6988 I think it depends. On wedges and chip shots it reduces. I could be wrong but I think it does typically add spin on your longer clubs/woods
old fart here with 20+ years of golf lol, but hey im a 2 hcp. anywho, trackman vs what your ball does on the green is a huge difference. for me it comes down to effort in the swing vs amount of spin. I really think bounce has alot more to do with it in 70-95% effort swings. I can attest to "more spin" on slightly wet conditions but i come from the land of tight fairways, so ive always been able to make great contact in so far as ''knipping'' the ball i.e. I know the bottom of my swing. what are your thoughts?

Tig adding water to a wedge or ball kills spin, not adds. Watch TXG’s video on Ping Glide wedges and you’ll see it cuts it way down on Vokeys but not the Glides
I came here to say the same thing. The ball spins less when its wet and reacts like a flier a lot of times.
Dude Tig is something special when he's on. I've watched this video like 10 times because I can literally watch Tig play all day when he's locked in like this. We need another couple videos with this format!

There's a course just outside of Austin, TX called Shadowglen and the layout/views are veryyyy similar to Pursell. Y'all should go play it sometime!

It is a miracle drug for many ailments, but the side effects are pretty bad and last forever. Good luck my man, hopefully you’re just enjoying the fruits of your labor are don’t have health issues.
what are the side effects? my son is on it, and has been for 2 or so years. i hadn't heard of any downsides, but never really looked into it. he was put on it by a specialist, and told it would only be for a few years from 13-16.

Prednisone lowers natural inflammatory response, which can be a targeted therapy for someone who is prescribed treatment. Chronic side effects of long term use can result in weaker bone structure, decreases immunity, and/or cushingoid type presentations. Hope this helps!

Love the new format…maybe one alteration is that the 3 “losers” play each other in a consolation bracket, that way they keep playing, the videos could be a little longer, plus r get to see more golf!

Boys, I love the content. Having said that- bubbie and Steve have way too many resources at their disposal to have their short game and consistency be the way it is. As a viewer it’s tough to watch Grant, Matt, Garrett and Tig pull off into another tier. The matches and challenges are almost unfair and know the expected outcome. Bubbie putting 20 yards off the green? Come on dude. You play golf for a living, hold yourself to a higher standard.
It starts to leave little to no suspense in the matchups. The 3v3 scrambles/matches can get away with it- but these head to heads just aren’t exciting knowing the outcome.
Again love the content, just my two cents. They should spend more time working on their short game instead of trackman videos.

SO EXCITED TO SEE THIS CONTENT! I feel like know this course and I’ve been in Alabama once and no where near Purcell Farms. Tig and Bubs walk up to #6 and the hole Tug dumped it in the water. And Tigs jump i ti the water. That HAS. To be a challenge somehow on this trip! The par 5 when (sorry boys I’m old I can’t tell) but Shake and Bake hit the Eagle from a mile out.

Love the video and content you guys produce! One thing I think a lot of people would enjoy more though is less 2 part videos. I personally love the longer videos with a full challenge incorporated. When there are two part videos I find myself trying to remember what happened in the previous videos. Overall, I still love the content, and can’t wait to see part two!
