Hello from the future Yaris and Corolla wrc looks sick And not to mention, Toyota at Le Means are neaely unbeatable, only losing to the legendary Ferrari in 2023.
This car was legendary to me in Gran Turismo 3. I could never get it and I always wanted it, I would watch it drive on replays with the play-view and could just watch it forever pretending I was the one driving it
Back in Gran Turismo 2 , the GT1 gave a me hard time but it was easy to tame later Toyota needs to start making some affordable supercars , it will outlast every car in that category

Toyota should re-build these "street" legal GT One and sold it...put the price they want, no more than 100 units $5millions each one, only an engine upgrade to at least 800hp and there you have a gold mine
I can't wait to see what the upcoming WEC class brings, Glickenhaus seem to certainly be looking to bring all guns blazing to the fight. And, Toyota Gazoo Racing looks to be bringing a decent weapon too..... It is like the next-generation of Group C/GT1 race cars, more in common with GT1, but easily extreme enough to compete with some of the earlier Group C race cars. It is a shame that they changed so much about GT1 in the late 1990's because honestly the cars for 1997 were awesome, I mean look at the Porsche 911 GT1 for that year, and you had cars from Lotus, TVR even had their Cerberra Speed 12 prototype planned to be brought forward as a project just to compete, although in the end not even a road car made it to production from TVR...... These cars are crazy, cool, fast, and, Flagships by every possible definition.
Then again, hard to have a championship when Mercedes is the only team wanting to participate outside of LeMans. That is one of the reasons the GT1 class got canned, no-one wanted to race. While the cars were wild, it simply wasn't sustainable for anyone but the bigger marques who were willing to throw F1 money at it, same with the late Group C. And with Mercedes having a hegemony on the class, everyone else took their balls and went home.
2:29 probably no one noticed this with the yellow car... anyway, the Toyota GT-One was the mightest Toyota Group C car ever made to date, with the design of a futuristic tiny spaceship!
Erm The Toyota TS020 (GT ONE) was not Group C tho it was GT1/LMP 1 Prototype Race car The Toyota/Dome 85-C and Toyota /Dome 88-CV Minolota, Tom's /Dome 95-CV is a Group C race car although the 88-CV only competed in JSP with the likes of Nissan R92-CP in Japan
Nope genius boy, this isn't a Class C car. This is a Hypercar. It's from the days of the GT1 class that lasted from the late 90's up to 2011. Group C is from the 80's and early 90's and they aren't supercars. They're le mans prototypes.
Nah! it was sabotage. The toyota gt one qualified 1st, 2nd and 8th for lemans 1999, they would have won, but someone purposefully threw shrapnel or something to puncture their tires. If the tire punctures didn't occur, the toyota gt one; the zent, the esso ultron and the safety net teams would have won the lemans no doubt.
The go-to OP car in Gran Turismo 3.

The cars and stories that came out of Le Mans in these handful of years never get old.

Either in reality or in racing simulator, due to too much torque the rear tire easily puncture when pushing too hard
