To me, the TS10 is pretty much perfect and it has become my go to EDC flash light. I'd wish Wurkkos would make a 18650 version of the TS10 tho. I recently got the new SC32 with Nichia 519A to see if it will replace my TS10 as my EDC, since I wanted something a bit bigger in 18650 and with tail switch. The Noctigon KR4 would be great, but it's out of my budget right now.

It sounds to me like you like the SC32 for its size and overall platform but you prefer a light with anduril. Be warned the KR4 definitely feels larger in pocket due to the girth, however if youre fine with that id recommend hitting up the "buy sell trade" thread on r/flashlights on reddit. You can usually find a great deal on there, especially for Hank lights.

@@KYROandHisThings I do like Anduril a lot, even tho I don't use all the options available, I like the versatiliyy that it gives you. I have to say that I didn't realize that the KR4 is thicker. How does it feel weightwise compared to the SC32?

@@themaggot8 the KR4 weighs 3.2 without battery, the SC32 is 3.7oz With battery. SC32 Much lighter. But its really the thickness that you will feel in your pocket.

I'm not really a flashlight guy but recently picked one up in this size range. Found i needed it a lot more then I thought i did. My beef is the battery doesnt last long. About 3 hours total and its done. Battery is too expensive to make it worth it. Any usb charged flashlights in this size range you'd recommend?

Hey, the Sofirn SC32 is USB rechargeable and has an 18650 so it will last much longer than something like a AA battery.
I have a video doing a review of the SC32 on my channel.

Usually these types of lights dont come with a battery, additonally you can grab a battery charger on Amazon for 18650s

I think the best EDC flashlight should be like the Wurkkos TS10 but with capability to take in Alkaline AA as well. You can always fit a AAA battery in a AA light. This allows one to use store batteries in an emergency.

Personally I prefer an 18650 in the smallest package I can get it in (SC32 for example) however the Sofirn SP10 pro shown in this video can take 14500 or AA battery, while also having Anduril. Based on your comment this light may be a good choice for you.

@@KYROandHisThings I was attacked by 4 guys at night in the street a couple days ago. I managed to get away using the turbo on the TS10 to blind them and hit the guy nearest to me after taking a hit by his baseball bat on my arm (he aimed for my head). Now am only thinking of a dedicated tactical light like the Nitecore P10iX to save the couple seconds my ts10 took to enter turbo.

@@SodiumSyndicate check out the video on my channel about tactical lights. There plenty of great options on the market that go straight to turbo from tail switch.
My recommendation is if its purely for self defense grab the Thrunitee BSS v5 (or 4) and it comes with a heavily serrated threaded bezel, red light, direct to turbo from tail switch.
