Our dear Aunt Ruby...wish she could have had a bigger part in Lulu's life...wish she could have bought those pink dresses. No one could have taken Aunt Ruby's place...think Lulu would have understood her father better and not worried that she was NOT wanted...miss her so.
This is where we get lucky, and where we're kind of screw (but in a good way). Norma Connolly did an amazing job playing Aunt Ruby. We are extraordinarily fortunate for her portrayal. The down side is that no one else could ever play her character. To do so would be a travesty. The end result, we can't have Ruby now, or ever, in Luke's life, or in today's Port Charles. We certainly could use her, and LuLu certainly could have used her in the early 2000s, but we don't get her.
Are there clips on YT showing Luke say he didn't want kids or he hated being in PC as a man with a family and a lovely home? As a first time viewer of many of these clips he sure seems happy to me.
BLT Kelly - if that is really true - that he hated Luke being a family man, then it was not the writer who misunderstood, but the actor. It has somewhere been documented that Mr. Geary was told that Laura was Luke's humanity and, assumably by extension, Lucky and LuLu. If that meant being slightly domesticized because that's what Laura wanted, then that is what Luke wanted. To say differently, actually goes against how Gloria Monty wanted the character to be perceived.
Wow! I don't remember this, I must have missed it when I was driving home from school. This was one of the cruelest s/lines ever! What a tear-jerker! Funny how my timing coincides with Jake Spencer (Morgan). Back then I it never crossed my mind that they would kill a child......*sniff*
Oh Luke! Girls don't break! :) ROFL! You are worried for nothing! :) And yes baby Lulu is going to be a miniature Laura. :) She will look just like her. :) WOAH! Is that how BJ's bus crashes?! Back then all I saw was Amy telling Tony and Bobbie that BJ was at the hospital and I hear there was a bus accident. I missed the bus accident part! So thank you Susseq! :)

Stone is a hero here. He must've saved numerous lives and nobody mentioned it.
That wasn't Stone. It was Miguel (Ricky Martin) who saved the bus driver and carried BJ out 😢
@@tcardinal1612 oh okay. Thanks for that.
I remember the BJ's store !!! made me cry !!!
Would somebody please tell Luke to put himself in Rick Webber's shoes when he and Laura were together!

Yeah.. hence the reason the long term viewers are confused by the current day mantra!
I agree Zelda Evans - I'm watching this for the first time too. LnL seem so so happy here...

It was a totally rewrite by later less talented writers who never should have touched these characters!
