I don't understand why people complain about these single blade Bic razors. These are classic razors. They shave absolutely wonderful. A single blade is the best blade for shaving. I have used just about every razor out there. Two blade Bic razors, 3 blade Bic, 4 blade Bic, 2 blade Schick, 3 blade Schick, 4 blade Schick, 5 blade Schick, 2 blade Gillette, 3 blade Gillette, 5 blade Gillette, Harry's razors, dollar shave club. All these multi-blade razors are nothing but a gimmick to get you to spend more money. All these multi-blade razors tug at your whiskers instead of cutting them the proper way. Anyone who complains about a single blade razor is either too lazy to shave, or doesn't know how to shave.
Hi, in Ecuador (especially in the coastal area) many people buy these cheap Bic razors the days before Valentine's Day to shave their intimate areas. I once tried to shave that areas with this but for me a DE works better, specially with a Dorco ST-300 blade on its 3rd or 4th use. For facial shaving, I prefer the Bic Comfort Twin as it glides better over the skin due to the aloe vera lubricating strip. At a local supermarket, a pack of Bic Sensitive costs $1.05. Some packs come with 7 razors with the text "Buy 5, get 7"; while others contain 5 razors but come with a free BIC Acqua 3 (triple blade) or a Bic Flex 2 (twin blade), which I really like and does its job very good.
I got a pack of these to shave in the shower when I can't be bothered with getting all my good kit out or don't have the time. Not the best shave , but if you go steady with them , then they do a reasonable job for the price.
Rick, thanks for sharing this shave. I went on a trip in the past and forgot to take my shave gear and the hotel I stayed at had a similar disposable razor. I was reluctant to use it but I went for it anyway. Let's put it this way, I wished I wouldn't have shaved. Oh well, thanks for the insight.
I bought a package of Bic razors from Walmart in Las Cruces NM on Valley Blvd. today. First one out of package dull as a butter knife. I bough way cheaper and sharper razors (Not Bic) from Dollar Tree.
We get these in the UK. A 5 pack for 59p (~$0.90). I've not tried them yet, but I keep hearing good things, so I'll give them a try next time I see them.
Hey Rick! You can actually get those at the Dollar Tree for $1.25 for a 5 pack. The only difference is it is all white in color. I think these are for when you are in a pinch or on an extreme budget,😅😅. The ones that aren't half bad are the Assured Double Twin disposable the Dollar Tree sells! You get 10 for the $1.25 price! That's only 12 and half cents per razor! IMHO you need 2 blades for a disposable. The single blade Bic just doesn't cut it, no pun intended!! Thanks for these budget shaves!! Most can't afford $200 razor shaves! Have a great week! Jim
Oh Gosh, I didn't even know these exists. Honestly, I'm not a fan of BIC razors or blades. I've always had the feeling that BIC products are below the levels of the well-known, bigger brands, so that's not my cup of tea. But it's still good to see that you recorded a video about BIC even though it doesn't seem like the best shave you've ever had 😉

I agree...when I watch or hear people that have trouble with these...no offense...but they still need practice learning how to shave.

Just use a quality shave cream and these razors are bloody brilliant..
The first razor I used was a Bic.... I was 15 !

These razors are strictly utilitarian. If someone uses these regularly, then shaving has to be a chore to them. Enjoyed the shave Rick.
I agree it's better than nothing but bare bones overall especially on performance.
I have shaved with every 4,5,and 6 blade razor out there but I always go back to this single blade bic ❤
I shaved all my life with these. They are absolutely terrible. Switched to safety razors almost 2 years ago, and loving it.

Never liked bic , it left my skin really spotty
