Tragic is that Lord Perenolde betrayed the Alliance to protect his kingdom. When the war was over, Alterac was destroyed by other vengeful kingdoms. If he stayed loyal to the Alliance, Alterac would still be destroyed by Doomhammers Horde, but Perenolde, the least likable and most jerkish & obnoxious of all human kings, would be remembered as one of the bravest and greatest humans his kind have ever known with Alterac being repaired in time perhaps as the greatest center of humanity, maybe even more than Stormwind & Lordaeron.
Really like the vibe you're going for, and the LOTR cut really helps to establish the scale of the badassness that is Alterac (that emotional element that you're trying to establish so over-looked so often in lore videos, imo). A lot of things missing in lore videos I watch is the immersion -- taking a moment to soak up the gravity of the situation/setting/environment. So many lore videos I watch are like a very quick news anchor reading through a script as fast as they can. It's fine, but I'd prefer something more cinematic and emotive. The video editing/pacing/narration could benefit from some polish, but I like where this is going.
Production and editing values are mostly great, the exception is the corny LotR cutscene but whatever. In game footage is really good....narration and pacing need a LOT of work. Less fanboy gushing for one, three minutes before any actual content is pretty bad. The last minute of the video is pretty terrible all around. Keep working at it, this could be something great if you just focus on content.

I often felt sympathy for the Nation of Alterac. I kinda like them more than the other kingdoms of the Warcraft world. I hope Alterac can be rebuilt and brought in as a haven for both factions due to their loyalties being divided among the Horde and Alliance and both for good reasons. King Perenolde had good relations with Doomhammer. They had a strained relationship with the Alliance since their days as part of the Empire of Arathor. Mainly with Stromgarde to the south. They were one of the greatest of the 7 kingdoms until Lordaeron and Stormwind (Azeroth in WC1 and WC2) rose in the 1st and 2nd Wars with the Orcish Horde. Alterac should be turned into a neutral safe haven for both factions like Dalaran to honor their bindings to both. King Perenolde had every right to fear for his kingdom due their position as a major clutch point for both Alliance and Horde during the 2nd War. Doomhammer was honorable but civil wars within the Horde forced him to not be able to protect Alterac from the wrath of the Alliance and would have stood as the only standing Kingdom of Humans left standing had the Horde won the 2nd war as they nearly did. Its debatable whether Alterac was right to betray the Alliance or fight the Horde. Both have their pros and cons.
The Alliance? That dosen't make any sense. Horde... perhaps. Alterac had it's problems and clashes with Storm. They were ocupied by the Alliance. I don't think the people would accept this.
Well, it could be a huge base of Operations for the Alliance and they ancient Human Roots, so this is just a take on what can happen in this town for the future, if you ask me after all this time, it feels more right that the Horde would move in and establish an undead town and maybe talk to the Ogres to join the Horde ^^
