Definitely recommend using the Medieval Megapack. Weapons have handle spots around the blades so you can half sword, plus lots of cool historical weapons and some commical weapons.

I have had that experience, it was not fun. I did manage to catch them off guard with a headbutt though.

for me it's Blade, gun, gun, blood borne gun, starwars blaster, magic magic magic magic magic, aaannnnd GIANT FIST GO BAM...
I love mods a bit too much.
For me it's just blade
Wish the sorcery bit were a bit more robust. Ice spells are an obvious start, plant spells to entrap and poison, an aoe type spell to ward off groups that doesn't just kill them, utility spells like detect life, healing spells, armor spells there's so much possibility
@@richardchisenhall387 I’d love if each spell type had different ways of casting. Fire could be a flamethrower, lightning could send a quick jolt of electricity, gravity… well, gravity’s already the most diverse spell in the game, so it’s probably good. For something like ice, maybe there could be something that freezes the ground to make it slippery.

As someone who never got to participate in any formal training blade and sorcery has been a really fulfilling experience
blade and sorcery is great for people like us who've not had it, for this man, it's a cake walk, there would need to be a mod that makes the AI actually have weapon techniques, uses, and such like these guys. oh, and I guess the same for the non sword stuff. jesus can they not hit with a bow and arrow.
@@Laughing_Dragon they need some refining but im so happy to have it, I wish grappling felt more intuitive and that your limbs would make contact past the wrists but I can only imagine just how difficult programming such a thing would be. The bow is just generally finicky from my experience, I can do some decent shooting but they get wonky on occasion like glitching arrows through the bow so they get stuck. Im about to get back on actually lol

@@Laughing_Dragon yeah, I use a mod that increases their atk speed by about 40% and the movements in this video from the NPC's felt so sluggish.

I love the axe combat in this game! Being able to hook a shield or take an opponent's legs out from under them is fantastic!

The great thing of sword and sorcery is that it displays how fatal hesitation is. Npcs are purposely made this way to give you a window to hit them, but people with that much hesitation would not last long
Blade & Sorcery is a really good VR game for those who like combat and on occasion act like a psychopath for fun. :)
I did notice in the outer rim mod that I try to play as a jedi but turn into a sith pretty quickly.

First time I watched someone who really plays like a swordsman, and not just doing whack-a-mole.
A normal person is good at this game, a person who can get creative with their kills is overkill, a person who is trained for real sword fights is even more overkill.
You're overpowered in this universe. I like it.

i wish they would add a hardest difficulty where the npc's movements are faster and more reactive to strikes like dodging or blocking and stepping back
you need to get the medieval mega Pack mod, it Has over 300 wespons and allows you to half-sword on most long bladed weapons.

I love playing this game and using assassin's creed tactics. Quick and efficient(hiding in bushes)
I'd like to see him do a full run on the Outpost Dungeon and see him take on a wave of them at the end
It would be so cool for him to do this outside while actually handling a sword irl while having the same sword equipped in the game and play with that.

I have a certain appreciation for the bardiche in this game. It has good reach and is pretty good at removing limbs. The riding sword with a round shield is also a good combo.

Today was my first time playing VR and now I got major respect for people who pla VR became it was exhausting
A number of games are a real work-out, even the ones that aren't intended to be exercise. Too many gamers aren't very fit, but don't notice until they try to swordfight in VR for more than 5 minutes at a time.

The bread sword is actually a really hard bread called baguette that took many years to harden and sharpen into The Baguette Sword (invention from early French in something something).
This is by far the most highly intense game of blade and sorcery I’ve ever seen

One thing I like about this game is that I never learned any form of martial art, and just by playing this game I started making up moves to adapt to the npc's moves. And now I need a mod to crank up the npcs to improve even more.
