My husband loves spicy food, but after he ate a raw Carolina Reeper with a little salt, the pepper ruin his stomach to this day. If he eats spicy, his stomach starts to repel his food in memory of the Carolina Reeper. We live in North Carolina where the Carolina Reeper is grown.
We lived in Malaysia for 8 months! The food is pretty spicy in general, but as someone who loves spice, I found it all very tolerable. Definitely think that Sex Panther will top most things you eat in Malaysia. 😂 After living and eating our way around South Korea, and a bunch of SE Asia, my spice tolerance was quite high. Now we have been away for a few years and it's shit in comparison to what it was. We are going back next year. Better start training, too! 😂🥵

The next hottest pepper is the Dragon's Breath chile, and then the hottest just known as Pepper X. Dragon's Breath clocks in at around 2.5 million Scoville units, and pepper x clocks in at 3.1 million Scoville units. The Carolina reaper is about 2.2 million Scovill units for reference.

I didn't like spicy food til AC (After COVID). What changed? A reframe. So, apparently, when you eat spicy food, the body literally thinks its on fire. Sooo, it releases endorphines and dopameine to protect you from the intensity. The result?It feels/equals a runners high. The spice legit gets you high, and make you feel good. As long as you welcome it, ride that wave, and just allow the burn. I promise, you will have a state change. I legit use this for anxiety, it works wonders! Play around with the spice levels in accordance with your bowel movements, but trust me, the tolerance increases pretty quickly with a shift in mindset! Good luck ❤

I heard some rumors that European colonizers put hot peppers on slave’s food to make it spicy and it kind of made me think a bit 😅 not that I believe them, but certainly it could be a form of torture…spicy food is good for the soul. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 My boyfriends boss is actually a Scoville and I still have to ask him if he’s related to Wilbur Scoville..(the guy who came up with the scale for spicy peppers) (could be since we live near Connecticut!) ghost pepper was my limit. It felt like it was melting my insides!! I like spice, but apparently not enough 😂 my sister is law though eats that stuff like it’s chocolate sauce.
