even in this rusty form it's still a great show of virtuosity. I would really love a re-recording done with better audio some time...nevertheless great to see this !
@@marcossidoruk8033 Kinda funny to see some people talking sped-up bullshits on the brilliant piano performance. I didn't manipulate anything on videos/audios and I WILL NEVER.
@@DemitNWC Well both the weird audio quality and the awkward tuning make it seem it is sped up. I am sorry if its legit and it hurts your feelings but that is what it looks like. Still it is a ridiculous piece and even slowed down it is mind bogglingly insane to play and a huge achievement, so good either way.
People often say things like this. I believe the reason is one of the following: 1. They believe that any piece that is hard enough is automatically unmusical. 2. They believe that any piece by [X Composer] is automatically unmusical. 3. The performance is unmusical (not true in this context, but it is not uncommon).
seriously? this is one of my fav pieces. it does sound rather clunky at times, but it's also accentuated with beautiful interludes and on the whole it's a worthy etude. when played well, i have never listened to anything so majestic as the section at 6:00
the fact someone can just play this on the fly is incredible!
Before this performance, I never realized how majestic these two measures at 6:17 can sound…
Yes, I felt the same. The bass line, chord, and the dotted rhythm. Everything is so satisfying. Best two measures in the piece :)
much better than Huang Yi Chung, too. couldn't hear the dotted rhythms (all blurred!) with Huang
Incredible performance! Those octaves! Noone could do that but Alkan himself and Seonyong Hwang!
It is very motivational watching your performances. Thank you.
This is amazing Sir!!! Alkan and Liszt would be proud
I am lost for words 🎼
This is epic! I hope he will start uploading again soon!

캬
Obviously a few mistakes, but an incredible performance. I love the stacatto at the end of the run around 7:15
very nice
와 이걸 ㄷ ㄷ
Impressive.
예전보다 훨씬 다이나믹이 살아있네요
Nice
How can a piano being out of tune sound that well?!? 👏👏👏
Don't think it is out of tune, the vid is accelerated making it sound that way.

@@marcossidoruk8033 The video is not accelerated at all. The piano is out of tune with the upper keys. And that's all.

That's absurd
wtf
피아노 조율좀 하셔야겠어요;;
A boring piece with no musical content.
It is literally an etude
- A playful etude full of majesty and focused on the pianist's resistance.
Fixed.
@@pineapple7024 some people think every piece needs to be a poem to be considered music
