They were circling around the cage to check him out not necessarily eat him. The narration would lead you to believe the camera man was instant prey but that wasn't the case at all.
What you fail to realize is the moment you’re in the water with one you are instantly potential prey lol they’re fuckin apex predators. Yeah they don’t actively hunt humans but if you’re in the water they’re gonna be curious...curious if they can eat you.

Fun fact: According to the Guinness Book of Records, the two largest great white sharks ever found were 36' and 37' feet long. The 36' foot shark was captured off Port Fairyin South Australia in the 1870s, while the 37' shark was caught in New Brunswick, Canada, in the 1930s. So those legends/myths/fishermen tales might not be so farfetched after all!!!
That’s not true, experts recreated the size of the port fairyn shark by the jaws of it and it was only 17’, the one off Canada is believed to have been a Basking shark.

Early this year in South Australia a Abalone diver found a 13ft Great White Shark missing its rear section from the dorsal fin... bitten clean off. And in 2004 Shark Alpha another 13ft GWS disappeared, they found the tracking devise and when they down loaded it, the information revealed a temp spike meaning the shark was eaten by something big.
I remember reading about that... there is also stories, unfortunately, from various people about large great whites - perhaps one-day actual evidence will be presented. It should not be dismissed considering we know very little about our oceans.

Turns out animals that actually exist tend to just be found by scientists who look for them and ones that don't exist never seem to pop up.

@@youbetzler There's definitely monsters in the ocean. Plenty of food, and places to hide. Something big wouldn't have to feed regularly. Because it will kill a large size animal. Probably live off 1 large kill for weeks, without having to eat. Then it can drop back down to the depths of the ocean.

Yes, sharks are predators. Beautiful ones, too. This video is attracting negative attention towards them. If they had hands, they would not attack. They are curious creatures and would definitely not ever try to hurt anyone on purpose. They are just trying to explore but sometimes it ends badly. Only 2 people die a year from a Great White shark attack. More people go to the hospital from touching a toaster. This video shows all false information and there is basically nothing real about it. I think it's not the cameraman, or prey like they say, the shark is interested in, but the metal cage that's activating it's senses. Either way, these 'researchers' should protect these beautiful, intelligent animals by educating their viewers instead of dumbing them down and picturing them as wild killers with a suspenseful soundtrack. They're predators, extremely well adapted after millions of years of evolution.

It really ticks me off how much they make these beautiful creatures seem like demons of the ocean. I'd love for someone to just "drop in" to someone's home in a cage, studying them and refusing to leave, just to see how they react. I know I wouldn't like it, and this is their home! According to the Guinness Book of Records, the two largest great white sharks ever found were 36' and 37' feet long. The 36' foot shark was captured off Port Fairyin South Australia in the 1870s, while the 37' shark was caught in New Brunswick, Canada, in the 1930s. So those legends/myths/fishermen tales might not be so farfetched after all!!!
That’s not true, experts recreated the size of the port fairyn shark by the jaws of it and it was only 17’, the one off Canada is believed to have been a Basking shark.

Obviously not the worst, since all creatures exist for a reason in the food chain but extremely dangerous. Not evil, just dangerous! We obviously aren't suited to live, (like swimming) in their environment and they aren't designed to live in ours. But they are fascinating and beautiful. The true experts who study them seem to be genuinely interested in them and aren't trying to get people to hate them or advocate exterminating them as some of you commenting here seem to think. In fact, I bet they would advocate protecting them if it came down to it.
It might be true that they aren't trying to do it, but i as a comoner who just see this video i get that impresion, the impresion that they want me to believe that the sharks are monsters of the sea when truly they are incredible and beatiful creatures

People claim that there was a great white found that was 37 ft and these are just 22 ft so I think that great whites shrank and just to be 30 ft so I think that there were sharks around 40 ft and that's huge for a great white

The biggest shark ever found in the world was the one caught by the Aussie shark hunter Vic Hislop in 1987 off Phillip Island in Victoria, Australia. It measured 6.3 meters, 20ft 8in and was weighed in at 2.47 tonnes. That shark has yet to be bested by anyone, anywhere in the world. As for all of the shark lovers on here, go and jump in the water with a great white over here in Australia and see how long you last. A British guy swimming at Malabar here in Sydney found out the hard way when he was literally torn clean in half by a 4.5 meter great white last Wednesday 16 Feb 2022 in front of scores of horrified onlookers who couldn't do anything to save him.

That’s Kevin Conroy! Voice of Batman (The Animated TV series & animated movies + The Arkham video games) I miss these TV documentaries, they had some legendary voice actors narrating these programs.
Early this year in South Australia a Abalone diver found a 13ft Great White Shark missing its rear section from the dorsal fin... bitten clean off. And in 2004 Shark Alpha another 13ft GWS disappeared, they found the tracking devise and when they down loaded it, the information revealed a temp spike meaning the shark was eaten by something big.
I remember reading about that... there is also stories, unfortunately, from various people about large great whites - perhaps one-day actual evidence will be presented. It should not be dismissed considering we know very little about our oceans.
