the x-files was a TV series that ran through the 90's that was extremely popular whose slogan was the truth is out there, they had a few but that was the main one. It was the Syfy television show but it was the first break through Syfy television show. I'm not a huge sci-fi person because generally everything is done very poorly, but the show was pretty good personally I thought up until the last two season. they have two movies and now they're doing 6 more episodes and I believe one more movie possibly. I heard you don't have to catch up on the last 9 seasons to understand this new 10th season, but you might wanna maybe look on youtube if you not going to watch them and check out a recap or something. I suggest checking this out, you were brought here for a reason searching for something, so I assume you like this kind of stuff. you would probably absolutely love this show

IH8YH Good point. Just want to see how they'd hash the mythology out more than anything else. That was always (except for the last 2 seasons) the strongest part of the show imo. However, seeing who is directing the new non-mytho episodes has put me more at ease.
