Alot of Nigerians are doing fantastically well in Europe now, and that's because they are highly educated there, and have achieved tremendous stuffs there. Give value. Don't just use tourist visa and go to a working system without bringing any value in, and u expect them to rush u with documents and papers?

God bless you... A lot of people that left Nigeria add nothing to the country they are going. A lot of people are leaving Nigeria not because they are not okay here in Nigeria, but the security issue. What the guy is saying is Half wrong. Why would you leave your country and start thinking of suffering where you are going? The first thing one should think about is meeting up with the standard of the country you are going. Europe is not Nigeria where anyone can make money anyhow they felt like. How will a Cybersecurity Analyst complain about living in Europe? Learn Handy work if you can not study. I have an 18-Year-Old boy that is into Programming here in Nigeria He's making Money from Germany Remotely and they wanted him to come over how would such a person suffer when he gets there. Please there are rules and regulations to been fulfilled in life. Studies and Handly work is one of the rules for living fine in any other country apart from Nigeria.

It's not easy for Europe here, but if you know how to save and plan your self wether Europe and Nigeria you will surely make it. The only way to beat the loneliness in Europe is by traveling for vacations and learning more things and meeting New people all over. The only way it looks like prison in Europe is when people are not legal yet in that country. May God almighty continue to direct our path.

Well said! I left Nigeria since 1987 and visited home 5 times since I left home. I miss home😭😭. When you cook food here in the states , its never like home, people keep to themselves and even us Nigerians don’t get along, same jealousy and bad behaviors they brought from home. They will even join whites or black Americans to turn against you. I love being here because of safety reasons, lights 24 hrs a day, jobs ,justice ,getting paid when job is do, retirement benefits and medical treatments. Nigerian government is a disgrace and things will never change. People back home thinks that we collect money without working out, and the most painful thing is that when you send money home, they think it’s too small and will only send you messages to say thank you, instead of calling directly. Where’s home? Home is where you have peace of mind and not living people’s live.

The problem of Nigerians going to Europe is higher expectations and wanting to get rich quickly. If you take things gradually and use your money well back home and don't be partying like idiots then you will live a better life. Also educate yourself to get into the system. Always have the mind of going back home that will help you to focus. Europe is a place of work and Nigeria is home always have that in mind and you will be ok.

Enjoying life abroad is easy if you plan and do intensive research about where you wanna travel to, even before applying for visas.

I think the problem here is viewing Europe as some sort of fantasy land. It's still a country where you have to work to earn a living. If the circumstances by which you arrive there prevent you from doing that then you have no one to blame but yourself. A random European coming to hustle in Nigeria will find it just as hard. Wherever you go, you need to work just like everyone to live comfortably.

There are two things that we Africans need to repair: 1. We fall for the image. The beautiful streets and tall buildings make us believe that that country is paradise. We don't even question. We spend whatever we have just to get there. 2. We don't like the truth. If a brother warns us, we say things like, "He's jalous. He doesn't want me to go there and be successful". But when we go there and reality starts kicking, we regret.

    You said "Nigeria get everything"
Ok answer this, e get security? Electricity? Jobs? Healthcare? Better world class Recreation centers? No!
Even that 30 euros Germany give people in camp does Nigeria even give you even 1 USD? Whether you are in camp or not? How many Boko haram displaced persons get paid?
Everybody cannot be a farmer in the village, but then even as a farmer in the village with no start up or only 500k explain how you will grow that 500k to make over 30 euros per month. Remember you have only 500k to buy land. How can you use that little land to sustain yourself all year round?
Also, atleast there in europe If you pay water bill you will actually see the water you paid for, if you paid electricity bill you will actually get the electricity. In Nigeria you pay and still don't get 24/7 electricity.
    You are complaining either because
    1. You are lazy
    2. You expected too much
    3. You went there illegally
    4. You don't have the right temperament or attitude for the country you are in
    And more...
How can you take a Lagos tout for example a hot head to a quiet sleepy town in cold dull Finland and expect him to enjoy it. No naw!
I am the type of person who hates interacting with people, I don't party, I don't drink, I don't smoke I love my peace and quiet, I love staying indoors and my A.C is on 24/7 as long as there is electricity, I also have a ceiling fan and standing fan so I love the cold I never wear shirt to sleep
So everything you said is perfect for someone who has same attributes as me.
Also I have a degree in law and IT but I can repair generators, I cook, i clean, amongst many other things I love to do manual labor it's like exercise for me.
But for you a bubbly more lively place maybe in USA, Jamaica, the Carribbeans or Mexico will suit you more, the heat and the noise and parties and interactive nature of the people.
Regarding That 500k what do you want to "invest" it in? Tell me?
Please Factor in the appropriate levies and fees including marching ground or marching grants, area boys fee, community levies, local government sticker, association dues and many more
Don't try to deceive us with the Nigeria we already know if Europe is as bad as you claim and Nigeria is as good as you claim, why not hop on the next flight to Lagos? You continue to remain there why?
People here work for 10k naira monthly, incase you didn't know Ekiti or ebonyi state is owing government workers salary, those road sweepers, guess how much their salaries are? 7,500 naira per month which is less than 10usd per month for a family woman.
They over work you and under pay you and you have very few places to enjoy your money even if you mistakenly, accidentally eventually make the money how many zoos, parks and do on do we have in Nigeria.
    Let's be real abeg.
If you are going abroad go with as much preparation as you can and use the Most appropriate means available to you and go to the country that best suits you that's all

Thank you o, you really said it all! No one looks at abroad like it’s all roses neither is it heaven but don’t compare Nigeria where nothing works!

    • @Biobele
      @Biobele 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

@@idarae.7025 Exactly, let us be realistic with our expectations of abroad, don't expect to be a billionaire over night just because you travel abroad and you won't be disappointed. Today almost every information can be gotten online if you are a nurse and will be working as a nurse abroad Google what nurse salary is, in the country you are going to and their work hours, then plan your life accordingly, if it is manual labour confirm the salary and work hours and plan accordingly then you will not be disappointed because you expected it. Don't use the best case scenario to plan, because you know one man who makes 100m naira monthly abroad doesn't mean you too will make that amount, do your own evaluation or estimation for yourself consider you skills or field or where you expect to work because that man may have gotten citizenship and is working as a judge or a politician or in an oil rig while you are just coming today you can't expect to get all that he has gotten immidiately you arrive.
If you expect heaven on earth with zero challenges because you are abroad or you don't plan at all then you will be disappointed but if you ask people questions, watch TH-cam videos about the country and the conditions of people already doing the work you intend to do then you know what to expect, Google questions about the country then expect a little less than whatever they tell you and you will be fine. If you can survive in Nigeria is it Germany or UK or any other European country you can't survive?
Lack of Preparation or planning and over expectation is what is disturbing people like this guy, they expected to go and pick money in Europe without working.
Also we should learn to appreciate the little things all the things Nigeria does not have. We shouldn't take them for granted. We should remember where we are coming from and how far we have come from there and your mood will change, ask yourself those people doing the exact work in that place I am coming from what is their pay? What is their standard of living like? What are their chances of social mobility I mean chance of then becoming richer going up the social ladder? Especially with inflation now.
Before going abroad you must have worked or seen that it'll be better for you to relocate.
I know a guy who was working abroad and earning hundreds of thousands of naira but was complaining about long work hours I said then talk with human resources or your boss and reduce the hours but he relocated to Nigeria instead and now has no job and no money to go back.
I talked with him and by my analysis discovered that he came back because he forgot why he left Nigeria in the first place, he started missing the lack of structure and organisation, the Nigerian lifestyle, people and food and his family, Only for him to come back and remember why he left now he is looking for way to get money and go back, he had a job paying him peanuts before he left now he can't even get a job to pay him peanuts despite his abroad experience.
Expect reality don't expect something you made up in your mind.
Remember why you decided to leave if possible write it down so when you go there you don't forget and start to miss the days you never even liked or enjoyed.
Work hard and smart or as hard as you can but smart.
Use your money wisely, you may not be a millionaire but even minimum wage should be enough for you to live off according to your means. In some countries the minimum wage will be enough for you to put something aside either as savings or start up for something else or get a recognised certificate not necessarily a degree but training in a field you like or something that pays better than your current job.

I know People in Germany who can not even find the simplest Jobs or who work very low and hard Jobs, even 2 or 3, 60 hrs. a Week and who take Credit from Bank to show off when they go to Nigeria. As for Asyl its allmost impossible nowadays to get it + as a Nigerian you shouldn't even try tbh. Its for People from Warzone. Many People in Germany for Example live on bare Minimum, not possible to save any Money, barelly can pay Rent and eat, do not even have Motor. And allmost noone owns their own House, bc Houses cost allmost 1 Million Euro. And majority of People do not average earn more then 1500 Euro a Month! If you have your own Farm and Land you should feel very blessed and invest in Nigeria instead risking your Life trying to come to EU, chasing Pipe Dreams.

We have been enslaved, lynched, dispossed of property, mistreated in the courts and legal system, denied voting rights, denied civil rights, suffered law enforcement brutality, and the list goies on and on. Did we flee? Hell No! Those in Africa who leave for supposed greener pastures should realize Africa dwarfs Europe and much of Asia in what it has to offer.
