The explanation could take a more fundamental approach. Starting with definition of Graha, Vakri, Manda etc. What properties does the planet acquire when is changes speed etc. Then at the particular planet significations. As Karaka and Bhava lord. After all this there should be interpretation of retrogression effect. How it affects the natural significances of planet and of the houses it controls.

the transit retrograde depends on where it is happening. you will be more comfortable with the retrograde. All Jupiter transits even retrogrades are auspicious specially if they transit over a natal planet three times

Vargottama means displaying uniform properties through various parts of individual's layers of existence. Thus it is easier to judge, there is nothing like exaltation etc. Although a Stationary Jupiter is very strong and beneficial in itself it doesn't need to be vargottama.

So I'm trying to ask is my 2nd lord and my 9th lord has exchanged it's placement, so what is its results? I always feel like I don't have much luck.
Retrograde Jupiter makes one question his values personal beliefs. It's said that retro Jupiter people are silent and very intelligent. How: any retrograde planet gives this tendency of reflection as it make things related to that planet's significations hard to achieve(what should have been easier by default), there is a sort of reversal. So the person tries extra hard and as a result Retro planets have cheshta bala: cheshta literally means efforts and bala means strength. Jupiter is Karaka for wisdom so the person suffers setbacks and questions the related concepts a lot more.
Same could be said about husband in a woman's chart. Since Jupiter is Karaka for husband in Stree jataka. As for particular house placement you have to see the whole chart.
I met my current partner while my Jupiter return in Sagittarius was in the 8th house which is where it is in my Natal chart. Even if Jupiter goes into previous house, if it is retrograde it’s impact on the karaka is there as explained in the video. I use Shri Jyoti Star , however any good software should be able to give you the motion of the planets
Rashi chart merely gives the Ascendant sign, first bhava Madhya sign and rest of planets position in signs. It doesn't tell which bhava the planets lie in. Bhava chart is the actual D1 or Lagna chart after string the ascendant as Bhava Madhya of 1st house, calculation of all bhava boundaries and following placement of planets in different bhavas as per their position in sign degree etc. There are various bhava schemes. Sripati Paddhati is very popular. To understand the construction of bhava chart, unequal houses you will have to read Siddhanta granthas. Aspects of planets on each other longitudewise are seen from Rashi chart always. In Jhora there is a pane which shows the boundaries of houses and the planets contained in the respective houses. Try to understand it, it is actually very simple, one Rashi doesn't equal one bhava.

Retrograde Jupiter makes one question his values personal beliefs. It's said that retro Jupiter people are silent and very intelligent.
How: any retrograde planet gives this tendency of reflection as it make things related to that planet's significations hard to achieve(what should have been easier by default), there is a sort of reversal. So the person tries extra hard and as a result Retro planets have cheshta bala: cheshta literally means efforts and bala means strength. Jupiter is Karaka for wisdom so the person suffers setbacks and questions the related concepts a lot more.
Same could be said about husband in a woman's chart. Since Jupiter is Karaka for husband in Stree jataka. As for particular house placement you have to see the whole chart.

Even if Jupiter goes into previous house, if it is retrograde it’s impact on the karaka is there as explained in the video.
I use Shri Jyoti Star , however any good software should be able to give you the motion of the planets

Rashi chart merely gives the Ascendant sign, first bhava Madhya sign and rest of planets position in signs. It doesn't tell which bhava the planets lie in.
Bhava chart is the actual D1 or Lagna chart after string the ascendant as Bhava Madhya of 1st house, calculation of all bhava boundaries and following placement of planets in different bhavas as per their position in sign degree etc. There are various bhava schemes. Sripati Paddhati is very popular. To understand the construction of bhava chart, unequal houses you will have to read Siddhanta granthas.
Aspects of planets on each other longitudewise are seen from Rashi chart always. In Jhora there is a pane which shows the boundaries of houses and the planets contained in the respective houses.
Try to understand it, it is actually very simple, one Rashi doesn't equal one bhava.

.where in planets move in to the previous house ( sri pathi pathi after calculating the bhava madhya) ..usually the planets in the last degrees or 0 degrees move in to another bhava .. so my q is while analyzing should we consider the d1 or the bhava chart .. since many things changes when planets move to diff bhava..
