Sure there are some problems with the map POI's, but what you are describing are general problems with pubs. Pubs are meant to be bumrush clusterfucks (or thats what happens when there is nothing on the line), if you want to play tactically, or just not die within the first 20 secs, maybe try ranked? And that still wont help you when you hot drop onto another team and cant aim. Also, learn to play the map and play smarter; When to take fights, where to take fights and where to rotate, don't just run in blind and expect it to go well.
Fair comment again, but trust me, I understand what you're saying and that is the case in large part for my games, I usually solo Q to diamond and stop because its just painful. But with pubs, I just think, for new people starting out the game, the ranked mode shouldnt be the more casual friendly game mode where the lobby isnt torched in 5 minutes on Olympus particularly its an issue due to the POIs and the map design
@@yyJBSyy You know that noobs don't get the same games you do right? Because you've solo q'ed to diamond (which implies you've played the game quite a lot) you get into the casual lobbies you belong to. Which reflect your skill level. Nothing wrong with the map.
@@mukk3l165 there is no casual lobbies, there are plenty of clips of people making brand new accounts doing 0 damage losing first four or 5 games and still getting in lobbies with 40k kill players. the only grace period you have is the actual "bot" lobbies they introduced and once you win, you are thrown to the dogs. but streamers/content creators are the ones who made pubs the way they are, people never did this till the content creation ramped up whether it was pubs or not.. this type of gameplay became normalized as the way to play pubs, 1 good game is worth the 40 off drop deaths as they say. the only way they "fix" this is by choosing you're Drop for you and forcing players to spread out, but that "takes the fun" away from games also as they say.

@@yyJBSyy I sadly did not played that much games on EDistrict yet, but it definitely felt good, end zones especially. I think my favourite is Storm Point, but the end zones are sometimes terrible there.

i love olympus and cant relate. it rewards skill. i bet it punishes lack of it too lol
