    Honda makes a plug replacement kit for the GL1200 that addresses the stator/reg rec plug and it fits all hondas with the same (shadows) plug.

    Some stators dont have the connector on them, just wire. Buy the one with connector, Im on my 3rd one, last one was done at a Honda dealer. Very expensive.

    I’m getting 17 volts to my battery can this just be a voltage regulator or is it my stator 2003 shadow Sabre 1100

      I’m getting 18 on my VT750… I hope it’s only the regulator. We did some testing and it stays at 13 while idle but jump to 18 while rev

    Hello- appear to have same issue so going to replace stator as no elec coming out of it.. Question - a honda OEM is 10 times the price.. How long did the old one last. Same for the rectifier. Thanks in advance.. just curious at such a price difference Thank you. Great video by the way

      Caltric seems to be a very good brand, even their batteries are good. This kit worked perfectly. Caltric did not sponsor this video either, we paid for everything and were very surprised at the quality.

      @@HiRevzMedia legend. Thanks mate. Going to see them tomorrow to get a unit. No reading on the volt meter coming out of it and so have to diagnose that stator has gone. Not bad for 33 years old .... Thanks for responding and the video.

    I’m having the same problem and I’m just trying to get a connectors and reconnect the wires but the problem is how would I know which wire is negative or positive? Since they all yellow wire? Does it matter?

      Did you do them yet? just do them one at a time or mark them with different color tape.

      It was perfect. I never had another charging issue, and the wires never started heating up again. It did great.

      then connecting the. the 3 yellow cables from the stator does it matter which of the yellow cables are connected to each other. (google translate). thank you.

      They’re a hit and miss. I got one that crapped out after 5 minutes. Get a electrosport and not worry about it

    That's poor craftsmanship. Get a MOSFET Shindengen regulator and run the new stator wires straight to the new regulator.
