Hi pavi, im planning to visit paris, amsterdam, belgium and germany in december. May i know if we eurailpass is convinient or flixbus is good option to travel between these places
Hello there :) Flixbus is for sure cheaper compared to train tickets. But the only con is the travel time is longer. Europe offers high speed trains which will take only 3-4hrs Eurail site sometimes has good discounts. If you get a good deal on the Eurail and reservations, for sure you can go for it. We had to make 6 train trips on 4 days so we took the flexible 4day pass with which you can travel any 4days in a month. On the other hand, for Flixbus gives you good deal for shorter journeys like paris to amsterdam which will more or less take the same time as the train. And also the earlier you book the tickets its the cheaper. We booked the tickets only a few days before our travel and it was a peak season, so cost was pretty high. These are my pov on this. 😊 If you are okay with the time taken for travel you can opt for bus journeys else you can opt for trains. 😊
