Man nothing could have been more 90s grunge than Kurt and Ren and Stimpy. I honestly think it would have worked better as an MTV show along with Beavis and Butthead.
Fucking ugly, nasty and horrible, that is too sick. I think Kurt might be lucky to get away from John K., when it comes to his feminism, and Kricfalusi’s sexual horror story. Ew, gross. This is why i don’t trust people that are closed-minded, and not willing to try out things from newer generations. The generational gap is such a tragic fate, more worse than you know it. I love both John K’s work (before 1993) and Nirvana, it is truly a tragedy to hear. I feel so sorry for Kurt, and the public reputation he doesn’t deserved. This legend of rock music needs more love, and there, i will do my best as i can for him. He is actually one of the greatest musicians, singers and songwriters of all time. And i say, R.I.P. to Nirvana’s lead, as its better to burn out than to fade away (not literally, but still.) and all i know is he’ll never be gone.
JayDee284 The time frame doesn’t though, Hair Spray Queen was going to be on Nirvana’s Bleach album, but was replaced by Downer and Ren and Stimpy didn’t air until 1991, that’s a three year gap between the song and the show
@Thankful New Channel 821 You mean "Nevermind"? "Nevermind The Bullocks" was the Sex Pistols' one and only album. Big Difference there. And Hairspray Queen wasn't on "Nevermind", it was on "Incesticide".
I really doubt it, honestly I feel like he just saw that Kurt liked the show and peeped the photos of him holding the Ren doll and just made up the story.
@@cibby6155 Because alot of this doesn't add up if you're familiar with Nirvana. He also comes off like he's just talking smack. Kurt definitely loved Ren & Stimpy and if at the time of this story Kurt was interested in writing a song for this show they would have absolutely looked into it. People who create cartoons are looking for anything to make their show bigger.
@@wantutosigh1117 "People who create cartoons are looking for anything to make their show bigger." Not every artist or cartoonist cares about that, and I have a feeling Trey Parker and Matt Stone would disagree with that sentiment, rarely do they have stars or celebrities on their show and when they do it's a joke or something. And John K is known to be very pretentious and even turned down an offer from Robin Williams to guest star on the show calling him a "f***ot"

20 years later they Regretted rejecting his so Ren and Stimpy song

Trivialised his death by making fun of it

@@andrewscott1970 Well you know, they have to be edgy to be funny. Dorks.
I HEARD THIS IN LARS VOICE ITS TIME TO STOP REWATCHING FUTURAMA 😭
Esto me voló la cabeza xDxDxD
My theory is that he wrote "Happy Happy Joy Joy", but John K sang it and didn't give Kurt any credit
wow, a potential opportunity
I feeling the song was Hairspray Queen its makes too much sense.

what reason would Billy West have to lie about this
