this is wonderful. :(( thank you always for sharing your process with us. I've probably mentioned it before but you are such an inspiration to me! im in that point in my art where i refuse to go beyond the messy early stages but seeing you turn blobs of color, random yet calculated strokes to something beautiful... i want to keep going too. i loved this so much and i will always be looking forward to your videos!
I loved the 🍐 painting and I have it a go last week and posted a shorts . I absolutely loved it against the lilac background and I wanted to see how it’d look without the white over it so I made it myself ❤ love your work- I’m a digital artist and after trying posca, pencils, acrylics and acrylic gouache I am so happy I’ve found a medium that loves me back - oil pastels 😊
Thank you so much for sharing your videos! I love them so much, they are so helpful! Please keep putting more! Especially ones like this with objects ( or the garden one!) I'm no good at figures, so things like this are very helpful! THANKS!!!!
You're the hope and the light in this time where artificial intelligences are taking over. Your videos are pure peace for the heart and soul. Thank you so much
You are genius, still don't understand how/what on earth you are able to see and pick (knowing) the right colour.. you are beyond talented! Love your video and looking forwards your next.
Fantastic art!! You have certainly mastered oil pastels as well or better than any other artist here. Thank you for sharing. Just wanted to mention that Mars Lumagraph Black pencils work really well with oil pastels for fine black details.
I just recently found your channel and have been inspired to pick up oil pastels again after not touching them since art school. Thank you so much for your wonderful videos! I look forward to your next ones!
Gorgeous, you made me so happy. Discovering that the impressionistic way I use my oil paint is in reach with my new Senneliers by studying your way off using the oil pastels. 👏 Which pencil did you use?
Thank you so much for posting videos!!! it's new to me how oil pastel can turn out like oil painting, cuz oil pastel that i have not pigmented as oil painting. i love how I can learn a lot by seeing your art, such as skin tone, the structure of the face, lighting, anatomy, references (ngl my art improve sm), i love your editing style too! it's so calm... i can say I'm often coming to your channel, ugh i never get bored. please post more! (joking hahaha, just post as the way you want)
happy that my video is helping you learn how to use oil pastels! I'm still exploring other way to combine them with other mediums, I'm looking forward to share more of process video in the future🥰 Hope you're having great day☀️
@@MisakoFlodin im so happy you are replying to my comment!!! yes yes yes I would be extremely happy if you are posting about your art progress, love to know that!
another wonderful video. it's so nice to watch your process from start to finish every time. i always get so excited when you get to getting out your colors because it's so amazing to see how all those colors, seeming almost random yet skillfully chosed and placed, blend together in the end. blows my mind every time. thank you misako
Thank you! glad you enjoyed my drawing process☺️ I started making oil pastel art 2 years ago and decided to be an artist last year. I'm glad I gave it a try, it's been such a fun journey!
i suddenly became addicted watching your videos. the calmness made your talent surreal. thank you for creating an art vlog that’s too far from the conventional one. i love it ❤️
Amazed that you can get so precise with the colors! I have a hard time making small details and end up smudging too much or mixing and it starts losing the details! You’re amazing!
Thanks so much for making such wonderful videos. Such a pleasure watching you create the images. I started using oil pastels just over a year ago and I really enjoy this medium. Can you tell me what sort of pencils you are using to create detail and fine lines? I find this challenging with oil pastel. ❤
I love the way you film your everyday life in a way that it looks simple but so beautiful, sometimes simple things are precious in their own way... thank you so much for sharing your art ❤️❤️❤️ lots of love from Chile
Wow I’m so impressed with your work! 🤩. Your ability to use oil pastel and make such divine artwork amazes me. I am curious though, when you do oil pastel on paper, what kind of paper do you use?

When you are doing a painting how do you know all the colors to use and build upon? Is it something you’ve trained yourself to see?

What type of varnish do you use? It's a question, thank you for your video and your answer.
WHHHHHHHAT! I've been subbed for a while but I didn't know you lived in Vancouver, I live at the end of the valley in Chilliwack, too cool :D
AWESOME!!!!! DID YOU SPRAY A FIXATIVE BETWEEN LAYERS OR DID THE GESSO GIVE YOU ENOUGH TOOTH TO DO ALOT OF LAYERS ON THE FACE? YOUR ART IS AMAZING!!!!
Thank you Becky!💓 3 coats of gesso gave enough tooth to build a layer😊
Another masterpiece 😍.
