YES !! so much YES!! I'm a gay man and as a kid I had a lot of friends who went to a church youth group so I went along a lot. Until it started getting really uncomfortable. The pastor pulled me aside many times to try and convince me that being gay was wrong, that if I prayed " the lord would help me find the right path back to him." I'm not a religious person but his words made me feel even more like a outcast than being gay already did. Made the turmoil that much worse. Now as an adult I know people like that are not worth wasting time on. Damage done none the less. The world needs more people like that woman. You can practice your religion with love and compassion or hatred. She is an inspiration. 💙
My favorite part of this video is when Mario confronted the hater at the parade! Great that you speak out for the community and against hateful rhetoric.
