Very interesting. They look like a mix between a kangaroo, mouse, and possum. And I was digging that background drawing going on during the narration. Noice!
Here finally an explanation for the "genetically closer to elephants" remark. It is often presented as a weird fact, but quite obvious when you know that they developed while Africa was isolated.
Just finished watching our planet that featured elephants roaming around in India in the city streets. Then the episode ends as the elephants fall asleep
They are both so cute and fascinating! Made me immediately develop a fascination for these curious little creatures. Also, the video is so well written, made, and narrated (and drawn!) as always~
I would be interested in seeing an episode about the water rats, or the Rakali, of Australia. One of the reasons why I find these guys interesting is because they're native placental mammals in an otherwise marsupial mammal dominated land.
In a perfect world cats wouldnt be allowed in places other than like euroasia where they are native. Keeping them inside all the time anywhere else isnt exactly that nice to the cat too. Being inside a house your whole life yknow. Theres cats native here, so its completely fine to let them outside, well except the city of course.
A cats whole life is wanting to go hunt, breathe fresh air, touch the grass, explore, etc. Just taking that away and keeping them inside all the time seems so harsh and horrible. Not very common here, but I guess americans do it more and cope about how cats actually evolved to specifically be inside their house all day.
@@MountainsAreCool Aren't they descended from a North African species? It could be argued that they are not native to anywhere, since we've effectively bred them to kill more than they eat.
Just a suggestion for Floralogic: Maple tree flowers and fruits. I have seen lots of videos on the syrup, leaves and the trees themselves but never were there mentions of their flowers, fruits or reproduction.
Would love to see Greater Bilby or a small dasyurid species (Mulgara, kowari, Dunnart, antechinus)!! We need to boost awareness since even many Australians don't know of them!
On the subject of shrews and Afrotherians, y'all should do a video on otter shrews. Granted if you do, getting footage may be difficult as there is very little online.

Spending 80% of their day looking for food? Ha! I can beat that! Wait …
😂😂😂
Well met.
Oooh! An animal I HAVEN'T heard of?? This doesn't happen often!! Thank you for broadening my horizons about these cute little furry elephants!
Oh, it's an elephant shrew 🤣 well still broadening my understanding!
3:51 if Sengi becomes a Pokémon, I don’t care what type it’ll be but if it CAN’T learn TRAILBLAZE I’ll be sorely disappointed.
Hyrax/Dassies would make a great video! There's a lot more to them then just sharing a common ancestor with Elephants
Take a closer look at that snout!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
SING, MY ANGEL OF MUSIC!
They are like rhinogrades but real! Absolutely adorable critters.

A heart rate of 1500 bpm is crazy
I've always been fascinated by these wonderful little creatures

0:10 THE WHAT!?!?
Also the reference at 4:41 got to me man.
it's spelled Dikdik tho 😅
The Numbat, Australia's forgotten marsupial 😢 my favourite. It just doesn't get any recognition but it's awesome.
Dunno about that, there's an Ubuntu release nicknamed after it
You should talk about the false saber tooth cats (also known as the barbourofelids)
Just finished watching our planet that featured elephants roaming around in India in the city streets. Then the episode ends as the elephants fall asleep
The smallest carnivore! The Least Weasel ( Mustela nivalis )
7:24 also still waiting on caecilians
Do an episode on the north American wild turkey. They're smart, pretty and the Tom's look cool when they're all puffed up.
They are both so cute and fascinating! Made me immediately develop a fascination for these curious little creatures. Also, the video is so well written, made, and narrated (and drawn!) as always~

I love this channel and the format so much, it always relaxes me
And there are still people who say "they love animals" and see nothing wrong in leaving their cats free to roam in the wild.
A bunch of us try to keep our little furry murderers inside.

Cats are awesome and should dominate the world.

They may be shrewd, but can't excite. Their heart couldn't beat faster !

You only wonder about your cat... sometimes? NEVER let your guard down! 😆

I would love to see a video on intelligence outside of mammals and birds!
They are so freaking cute

There’s already one on quokkas. Check that out if you want to see some cute footage as well as learn some facts about them!
Me encanta aprender con estos vídeos, felicitaciones al productor por los temas tan interesantes.
These guys look like a critter that you could see a sketch of in a Speculative Evolution book
Goodness, i havent been on this channel in a bit, buut that hair colour suits you amazingly!!
Could you make an video on elephants? Would the African and Asian elephants get separate videos or would you talk about them together?
Gold rump sengi is absolutely mind boggling to me I keep rewinding and pausing on it 😅

I don’t support the exotic pet trade, but if I had no morals, I’d name mine Snoot.

👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤❤❤EXCELLENT AS ALWAYS, THANK YOU!

Shrews being shrews, I'm guessing that anyone foolish enough to step on a hero shrew would get a very nasty bite.
Coelocanths
these are cute
Do a video on Japanese green pigeons. Why do they drink salt water?
Could u talk about the kouprey a wild cattle from Cambodia
Immediately though of john Hammond.
Yeah, book Hammond making a tiny elephant.
THE WEEVIL RAT
Please talk about the elephant for your next video. It's my favorite animal.
