It's not just dig a hole, fill with water, put fish in it,this is proper fishery management at the highest level...A great coverage of the process too Jamie...👍🎣
Great insight into how they manage their stock, from growing fish in stock ponds before moving them into the "public" lakes. Saves all EA paperwork regarding healthy water and getting a lake of new fish from external sources. No resting on the LAURELS (pun intended).
Great video Jamie nice to see the team doing some work on the fisheries thumbs-up too 👍 the great management team at lindholme Lake's, nice to see some decent platforms going in around the lake 👍 Don.
Been brilliant Jamie really is good to see how the fisheries go about it and nice to see a top match angler such as yourself taking notice and time out to show us guys what's what thank you very much
Brilliant insight to the work involved. We had our farm pond done years ago and the fishery suggested old farm manure in bottom to aid maturity of water and it made bloodworm too for fish too feed ,so maybe old straw .
I was told that they had got a note of what weight of fish were taken out and which lake they were put in to. So they were then able to get a similar weight of fish out of those lakes to restock it. There was no mention of them netting the stock lake
hi from expat from rotherham, its 40 years since i grew up fishing the trent and fens iam sorry but the thought of fishing puddles like that for starving fish in feature less pond does nothing for me how things have changed.
On my local commercial every match is just a race to haul in pastie-sized carp on a 20 elastic top-section to fill up 10 keepnets…. not for me thank you!
All good but give me a natural looking pool, lake anyday, with features, not open water with steel platforms on. So many fisheries are like this, full of carp and F1's. Natural all day for me, big perch, crucians and plenty of tench, big roach and rudd odd carp.

What happens to the fish that where removed from the 20 year old lake
Why cut so many trees down, thought the shade would help water purity
